The bout takes place on the prelims of a card headlined by middleweight legend Dan Henderson and Tim Boetsch. For Akhmedov, it’s an opportunity to further move up a crowded division at 170 pounds.

Ebersole is by far the biggest name and the most experienced fighter he’s faced to date – which doesn’t say much about his career. However, at 27 years old, Akhmedov still has time to get better and climb the ranks, although it’s hard to tell what his ceiling is.
