UFC Odds Online: Ronda Rousey’s line shifts more than 200 points as UFC 190 fight with Bethe Correia nears

Rousey-Recap-Look-Ahead.ac

UFC betting online: The last time we checked in on the Rousey-Correia odds, the champion was a minus-1418 favorite, with Correia at plus+848.

Now, Rousey is even more expensive at minus-1651. As more bets come in on Rousey, this line might move even more, so it’d be a good idea to make a wager now if you were planning to bet on the champ.

CURRENT AND UPCOMING ODDS

Rousey to win: minus-1651

Correia to win: plus+958

Projected over/under: 1.5 rounds, with the under starting at minus-300

Prop bets to watch for: Rousey by submission, Rousey by KO/TKO

A FEW SMART BETS

Let’s just move forward with the assumption that Rousey is going to win, and win easily. Nothing in Correia’s past fights suggest that she has what it takes to dethrone the UFC’s most dominant champion. What’s worse, Correia’s insensitive remarks towards Ronda’s family has royally pissed off the champ.

Right now, you’d have to bet $1651 on Ronda to make $100. Not very appealing, I know. You’ll probably want to take a look at the under on 1.5 rounds, which will net you a much better payout. It’s not as much as a lock than Rousey to win, but it’s highly doubtful that Correia lasts more than seven minutes and thirty seconds against a furious Rousey.

I’m fully aware that Rousey has publicly stated that she’s going to prolong the Correia’s beating. But that’s contingent upon how much damage the Brazilian can take. Sure, she’s tough, but Rousey’s physical advantages in terms of strength, power and speed almost makes you feel sorry for Correia.

Even if Rousey completely forgoes the ground game in favor of her strikes, it’s hard to see the challenger withstand too many knees to the gut and sharp elbows before she goes down for the count. If you’re going to go with a prop bet, I’d take Ronda at her word and choose the option that she wins by TKO.

Prop bets are usually released a day or two before fight night, so remember to check our UFC 190 odds for the latest updates. And if you’re planning to bet on Correia, I’ve also got a few magic beans I’d love to sell you.
