It’s a fight that’s too big not to get made. Rousey knows it, Cyborg knows it, and the UFC knows it. Currently, it’s still far from coming to fruition. Justino has yet to fight at 135 pounds, and Rousey has refused to accommodate the Brazilian at catchweight on the grounds that she was popped from steroids.
In a business sense, prolonging the inevitable will only make this fight bigger when it does happen. The harder the fight is to make, the more mystique it carries. And it helps to have both woman continually take jabs at each other in public, fueling fan passion and media headliens. It’s hard to be patient, but it’ll all be worth it when Rowdy finally steps into the octagon with Cyborg.
