UNPARALLELED JIU-JITSU VS. RELENTLESS AGGRESSSION

Demian Maia -320

Matt Brown +265

Over/under 1.5 rounds, over -170, under +150

Usually, when a fighter attaches themselves to an opponent and doesn’t let go, fight fans think it’s boring. But Demian Maia is bucking that convention, simply because it’s so fascinating watching him break the will of other fighters. And at 38 years old, he’s better than ever. The Brazilian latches himself to a limb, drags the fight to the ground, then looks every bit of the multiple-time world champion in in jiu-jitsu that he is.

It’s a bit unfair to label Matt Brown as just a striker, because it’s his relentless pace and aggression that really defines him. This guy never stops coming forward and throwing every limb of his body at opponents. Just like Maia, he makes opponents quit - but he just does it on the feet.

ACCURATE STRIKING VS. EXPLOSIVE POWER

Uriah Hall vs. Silva

Odds coming soon!

Despite his obvious physical decline, Silva is still one of the most dangerous strikers in the game. We saw this in his last fight against Michael Bisping, when he nearly ended the fight a few times with terrifying outbursts of the precision violence that made him one of the best of an era. His power and energy may be fading, but the accuracy and the creativity are still there.

Like Silva, Uriah is no stranger to spectacular finishes. He is one of the most explosive strikers in the division, and his spinning jump kick to Gegard Mousasi’s face is one of the coolest highlight reel finishes you’ll ever see. While he’s far from the model of consistency, Hall’s striking is feared by everyone in the division. And now, he gets a shot at one of the best strikers in UFC history.

JIU-JITSU VS. MUAY THAI

Claudia Gadelha +160

Joanna Jedrzejczyk -200

Over/under 4.5 rounds, over -190, under +165

Joanna Champion is widely recognized as one of the best standup artists in the UFC. She has picture-perfect Muay Thai with elite hand and foot speed to go with her snapping power. As far as pure Muay Thai goes, she is arguably unmatched in the entire promotion.

Like Demian Maia, Claudia Gadelha is a world-champion jiu-jitsu player. And she is physically savage enough to drag any girl in the division to the ground. We know that she has take J-Check down, and it’ll be fun trying to watch her do it against a girl with excellent takedown defense.
