Things are about to get really busy for the UFC in the next few weeks. We’ve got five cards in the span of eight weeks, and that means there’s a lot of action for you to bet on. We’ve written extensively about headliners and big matchups, but there are definitely some undercard fights that you should be aware of.

UFC Fight Night 86, April 10
Heavyweights
Francis Ngannou vs. Curtis Blaydes
Odds coming soon!
This card is extremely thin after the Ben Rothwell-Junior Dos Santos headliner, with little to offer in starpower or divisional impact. What sets it apart though is the number of heavyweight bouts, which is rare because the division is so thin. The matchup between Francis Nganouu, whose 6-1 with 6 KOs, and undefeated Curtis Blaydes - 5-0, 5 KOs - promises to both violent and meaningful in the sense that the division is in desperate need of young blood.

Lightweights
Michael Chiesa +165 vs. Beneil Dariush -215
Over/under 2.5 rounds, over -165, under +145
Many experts pegged Dariush - 12-1, 2 KOs, 6 SUBs - to have a breakout 2016 that would end with him in serious title contention. Despite a contentious split decision over Michael Johnson in his last bout, the fact remains that he’s won five straight in a loaded lightweight division. His opponent, Michael Chiesa - 13-2, 9 SUBs - has quietly become a very good fighter at 155 and can set himself for a high stakes bout with an upset victory.
UFC 197, April 23
Lightweights
Anthony Pettis vs. Edson Barboza
Odds coming soon!
Come witness the last stand of former champion Anthony Pettis. I’m not saying he’s done, but a loss to Barboza would mark his third straight and send him tumbling down the rankings and out of title contention. And Barboza is just 1-2 in his past three, he’s every bit as explosive as Anthony Pettis. These are two elite athletes that love to throw flashy kicks - get ready for some fireworks.
UFC FIGHT NIGHT 87, May 8
Welterweights
Gunnar Nelson vs. Albert Tumenov
Odds coming soon!
Striker vs. grappler? Yes please! Two highly touted prospects, submission specialist Gunnar Nelson - 14-2, 3 KOs, 10 SUBs - and knockout artist Albert Tumenov - 17-2, 11 KOs- will square off on the undercard of Alistair Overeem-Andrei Arlovksi. Tumenov has been a straight up killer, notching five straight wins with three vicious KOs. Nelson was manhandled by Demian Maia in his last fight, but remains one of the most dangerous young grapplers in the division.
UFC 198, May 14
Welterweight
Demian Maia -320 vs. Matt Brown +265
Over/under 1.5 rounds, over -165, under +145
Another striker vs. grappler matchup? The more the merrier. This time it’s the master of jiu-jitsu himself, Demian Maia in a clash against Mr. Beat-You-To-a-Pulp, Matt Brown. Demian Maia has a habit of turning his opponents into pretzels, while Brown never stops pummeling dudes with every one of his limbs. Somebody’s style will reign supreme. And what’s more, Maia has won four straight and is knocking on the door of a title shot.
