The first leg of back-to-back UFC cards kicks off this Friday with The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Finale. Consider it a worthy appetizer to a monster UFC 213 on Saturday, with exciting fights all over the card. In the main event, the always-entertaining Michael Johnson will welcome Justin Gaethje to the octagon after a vacating the WSOF belt with an undefeated 17-0 record.
Other notable appearances on the main card include the undefeated lightweight Mark Diakiese and light heavyweight former hockey enforcer Steve Bosse. Of course, the semi-finalists from the show will also square off for the chance to earn a UFC contract as well.

Main Event
Michael Johnson -155
Justin Gaethje +125
Over/under 1.5 rounds, over -180, under +150
Common Sense Betting…
Time for Gaethje to put his big boy pants on - the UFC is miles ahead of WSOF in terms of competition. While Johnson has been banging with top-10 UFC lightweights, Gaethje went full great white shark against goldfish in a tiny regional pond.
Gaethje deserves credit for racking up 14 KO/TKO wins in 17 career victories, and he’s ended multiple fights with leg kicks alone. The power that he wields in his strikes is going to cause problems for Johnson, though “The Menace’s” speed evens things out.
Tough pick to make here, but Gaethje is the guy you want to go with. He’s been flying under the radar in the WSOF, and has the potential to be a title contender right away. It won’t come easy, but he should be able to keep his flawless record intact.
UFC odds pick: Gaethje to win at +125
Lightweights
Marc Diakiese -285
Drakkar Klose +225
Over/under 2.5 rounds, over -145, under +115
Common Sense Betting
What an awesome fight between undefeated prospects. England’s Diakiese is 12-0 with 6 KOs, while Klose is 7-0 with 4 KOs. The limbs should be flying thick in this matchup.
Klose is a solid striker with good athleticism, but the 24-year old Diakiese is already one of the brightest prospects in the UFC’s best division. While the Brit is thought of primarily as a striker, he’s a sorely underrated takedown artist with a strong top game. That wrestling ability is his trump card should Diakiese find himself in trouble on the feet.
UFC odds pick: Diakiese to win at -285
Light Heavyweight
Jared Cannonier vs. Nick Roehrick
UFC odds coming soon!
Common Sense Betting
With Steve Bosse pulling out of this matchup, Nick Roehrick steps in with just a few days notice to meet Jared Cannonier. While Roehrick is a solid, undefeated prospect, asking a guy to make his UFC debut on short notice against a beast like “The Killa Gorilla” is a bit much.
UFC odds pick: Cannonier to win
