With the UFC’s first foray into South Korea in the books, the promotion jumps right back into action less than a week later for UFC Fight Night 80 on December 10. The Thursday night card on UFC Fight Pass will kick off three straight days of UFC cards, ending with UFC 194 on Saturday night. There are plenty of great reasons to catch the opening act of a crazy week of fight action.

What’s more, the winner of this fight of this fight could stake a claim as a credible title challenger. While Brazilian Claudia Gadelha is slated to get the next shot at Joanna Champion, PVZ or Namajunas might easily be next in line.

The lifelong martial artist is blessed with immense physical tools, making him an electrifying fighter to watch.
Despite a lightning quick victory over Francisco Trevino in his debut, Northcutt is being brought along slowly by the UFC. His opponent, Cody Pfister - 12-4-1, 4 KOs, 3 SUBs - is a fringe fighter who is being brought in to make Northcutt look good.
IS MILLER TIME OVER?
Michael Chiesa - 12-2, 8 SUBs - is 4-2 in the UFC and is getting an opportunity to notch a signature career victory in a matchup with Jim Miller - 25-6, 3 KOs, 14 SUBs - who is just one year removed from being a perennial top-10 lightweight. However, a 1-2 record in his last three has dropped him to No. 15 in the standings. Beating the well-regarded fighter is seen as sort a rite of passage for any lightweight wishing to become a true player at 155.

The winner of The Ultimate Fighter Nations, 27-year old Elias Theodorou - 11-0, 5 KOs, 2 SUBs - just might be Canada’s next breakout star. Not only is he fast, athletic and nasty, he’s a former male model and actor who knows how to market himself. The middleweight division is in need of some fresh blood in its ranks, and a flashy win over the middline Thiago Santos - 11-3, 7 KOs, 1 SUB - could announce his arrival.
