Lyman Good will get back into action for the first time in two years, as he takes on Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos on Saturday at UFC on FOX 25 in Uniondale, New York. Good is a former Bellator champion who made his debut in the UFC by defeating Andrew Craig two years ago. Dos Santos lost his UFC debut two years ago, as he was beaten by Nicolas Darby but he has rebounded to win his last two fights. The bout between Good and dos Santos is one of four on the FOX portion of the preliminary card, leading up to a four-fight main card that features Chris Weidman vs. Kelvin Gastelum.

Lyman Good (19-3, 1-0 UFC)
Good made his name in Bellator where he made it to the final in the Season 7 Welterweight Tournament before losing to Andrey Koreshkov. Good bounced back from that loss to defeat Dante Rivera at Bellator 95.
Good spent about a year in the Cage Fury Fighting Championships where he went 3-0-1. Good made his UFC debut against Andrew Craig in July of 2015 and won by second round TKO. Good was supposed to fight Omari Akhmedov late in 2015 but Good was pulled from that bout. He was also pulled from a bout against Belal Muhammad late in 2016. Good was then suspended six months because of a failed drug test. This will be his first fight in two years.
Good has nine knockout wins in his career and three submission wins. He has six first round finishes.
Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos (16-5, 2-1 UFC)
Dos Santos spent the early part of his career fighting for lower level organizations like Jungle Fight, Smash and Amazon Fight in Brazil. He won the welterweight title in Jungle Fight and he was 14-4 before he joined the UFC in May of 2015. Dos Santos lost his debut against Nicolas Dalby by split decision. Dos Santos landed more strikes in the bout but Dalby took down dos Santos six times.
Dos Santos came back in April of 2016 and defeated Omari Akhmedov by third round knockout and later in 2016 dos Santos defeated Keita Nakamura by unanimous decision.
Dos Santos has 12 knockout wins in his career and two submission victories. He has eight first round finishes.
UFC Picks
The question we have to answer in this fight is whether or not Good is ready for a tough bout after being out of action for two years. Good does not have a great resume, as most of his time was spent in Bellator. He did get a solid win over Craig in his UFC debut but that was two years ago. Dos Santos has seen a lot more recent action and he has good wins against Akhmedov and Nakamura. I think the edge in this fight is with dos Santos, so I will take him to get the win. It is also hard to see this fight going the distance, especially since Good hasn’t even fought in two years, so I will also take the rounds to go under the total.
