UFC 209 Main Card

Stephen Thompson -150 vs. Tyron Woodley (rounds 2.5 over -175)

The disrespect for Woodley continues as bettors are going against him once again. Bettors liked Thompson the first time these two fought and they are backing him at UFC 209. Thompson opened as a -120 favorite and that number is now up to -150. These two fought to a draw last year in what was an excellent fight. Woodley is 16-3-1 in his career while Thompson is 13-1-1. If Woodley is able to retain his welterweight title, we could see him matched up against Georges St-Pierre sometime later this year.

Khabib Nurmagomedov -190 vs. Tony Ferguson (rounds 3.5 over -165)

Bettors originally took Nurmagomedov in this bout as he opened at -170 and he went up to more than a -220 favorite. That number has since come back down a little bit with Nurmagomedov a -190 favorite. It is hard to go against Nurmagomedov as he does everything really well and he comes into this bout unbeaten, with a record of 24-0.

Alistair Overeem -140 vs. Mark Hunt (rounds 1.5 under -130)

There has not been a lot of movement on this fight with Overeem opening up as a -135 favorite and that number is now at -140. The rounds total on this fight opened at 1.5 and the under is only at -130. It would not be a surprise if that money line went higher as this fight may not make it out of the first round.

Rashad Evans -195 vs. Daniel Kelly

There has been no significant movement on this fight with Evans listed as about a 2-1 favorite. Both of these two fighters look to be over the hill but Evans is getting more respect simply because of his name value.

Lando Vannata -250 vs. David Teymur

Bettors are taking the favorite to a slight extent in this fight, as Vannata opened up at -240 and he is up to -250.

Preliminary Card (FS1)

Marcin Tybura -159 vs. Luis Henrique

Bettors like the favorite in this one as Tybura opened up at -140 and he is now listed at -159.

Mirsad Bektic -606 vs. Darren Elkins

There is only one way bettors are going in this one and that is with the favorite. Bektic opened up at -360 and bettors are betting like this fight is already over with Bektic more than a 6-1 favorite.

Luke Sanders -115 vs. Iuri Alcantara

One of the few underdogs bettors like is Alcantara as Sanders opened at -120 and is down to -115.

Mark Godbeer -140 vs. Daniel Spitz

There has been no substantial line movement on this fight.

Preliminary Card (UFC Fight Pass)

Tyson Pedro -120 vs. Paul Craig

This is another fight where bettors have yet to pick a side.

Amanda Cooper -115 vs. Cynthia Calvillo

Bettors like the underdog in this one as Cooper opened up a -125 and she is down to -115.

Albert Morales -135 vs. Andre Soukhamthath

This is another one where bettors have a small opinion on the underdog as Morales opened at -140 and is down to -135.

UFC 209 takes place on Saturday, March 4 at the T-Mobile Arena, which is located just outside of the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The event features a rematch between UFC welterweight title holder Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson. There are five fights on the main pay-per-view card, and seven prelims with four on FS1 and three on UFC Fight Pass.
