The women get the spotlight on Saturday night in Sacramento at UFC on FOX 22 as Paige VanZant takes on Michelle Waterson. This main event bout features former Invicta FC Atomweight champ Waterson who is 13-4 in her career taking on VanZant who is 7-2 in her career. VanZant is a slight favorite in UFC odds in this bout. Women’s Strawweight Rankings
1. Joanna Jedrzejcyk (13-0) – There are no challengers to Jedrzejcyk. She is coming off a win against Kowalkiewicz last month.
2. Claudia Gadelha (14-2) – There is a big drop to the second fighter in these rankings with Gadelha having two losses. She did defeat Cortney Casey last month.
3. Karolina Kowalkiewicz (10-1) – She had her chance to make an impression but failed to beat Jedrzejcyk. It is still hard to drop her too much in the rankings as no one has beaten Jedrzejcyk.

7. Jessica Andrade (15-5) – She beat Joanne Calderwood in September.
8. Rose Namajunas (5-3) – She was beaten last time out by Kowalkiewicz.
9. Tecia Torres (7-1) – Her first loss was against Namajunas last time out.
10. Angela Hill (6-2) – She is coming off a win against Kaline Mederios last month.
11. Livia Renata Souza (9-1) – She is coming off a loss to Hill.
12. Weili Zhang (8-1) – She is coming off a win against Maira Mazar.
13. Maryna Moroz (8-1) – She beat Danielle Taylor last time out.
14. Paige VanZant (7-2) – She is a slight favorite against Waterson at UFC on FOX 22. VanZant is coming off a win over Bec Rawlings but VanZant is probably best known for her appearance on Dancing with the Stars.
15. Michelle Waterson (13-4) – She has a big chance to move up the rankings if she can beat VanZant. Waterson is a former champion but that was in Invicta FC. She made her UFC debut in July of last year with a win over Angela Magana and has been out of action since because of a knee injury.
Women’s Bantamweight Rankings
1. Amanda Nunes (13-4) – The biggest fight in the career of Nunes will take place at UFC 207 when she takes on former champion Ronda Rousey.
2. Ronda Rousey (12-1) – The former champion is listed as a -165 favorite at BookMaker for her fight against Nunes at UFC 207. Oddsmakers opened this fight with Rousey listed at -180 but bettors are not sold as they have been taking Nunes with the odds down to -165.
3. Valentina Shevchenko (13-2) – She defeated Holm last time out.
