While UFC 192 is loaded with impactful fights on the main card, there are plenty of reasons to watch the prelims. For starters, they’re free fights on FOX Sports 1 that you can bet on right here at BookMaker.

But looking deeper, the prelims are loaded with intriguing fighters and storylines that could play a part of the bigger picture.

CURRENT ODDS

Make sure to sign in and check all our UFC 192 odds online. The most popular fight bets are the money lines, and those are always released first. Then come the round totals, which are usually released a week before fight night. The last odds to post are the prop bets, which are typically posted the morning of the event. After each fight starts, live betting is also available during the bout.

CAN BENAVIDEZ EARN A THIRD TITLE SHOT?

Joe Benavidez is a top-3 flyweight whose only losses have come against champion Demetrious Johnson. Unfortunately, their most recent fight wasn’t all that close and Johnson is starting to pull away from the field. Not many are clamoring for a third bout between the two, but Benavidez could force the issue if he keeps winning. A win over Bagautinov on the FOX Sports 1 prelims could set up a title eliminator against somebody like Henry Cejudo.

Current Odds: Joe Benavidez -335 vs. Ali Bagautinov +275

THE RISE OF ROSE NAMAJUNAS

Women’s strawweight Rose Namajunas is one of the best prospects in the division, and she’s already challenged for the title as a finalist on TUF Season 20. The 23-year old has just four pro fights and is as raw as they come right now. Still, the talent is undeniable every time she steps into the cage. Her opponent, Angela Hill, is even less experienced with a 2-1 record, so expect Namajunas to be the heavy favorite going into the bout.

Because the 115-pound weight class is so thin, any fighter in the division is only a few wins away from a title shot. Because of Namajunas’ popularity, she could find herself in the mix sooner than later starting with a big win over Hill.

LIVING UP TO THE NAME

Sergio Pettis is the younger brother of former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, so his name alone draws interest. While he has the trademark Pettis athleticism, the 22-year old flyweight seems to have a much lower ceiling, with a 2-2 record against mid-tier competition. Facing former title challenger Chris Caraiso, Pettis has a huge opportunity to step out of his brother’s shadow with a signature win that could place him within arm’s distance of the top-10.

If he can keep improving, we could see the first siblings to ever hold titles inside the promotion. But as long as Demetrious Johnson sticks around as the champ, it’s unlikely that it’ll ever happen.

19 YEARS OLD AND IN THE UFC

Sage Northcutt is the youngest fighter on the UFC roster, and many are curious to see if the promotion was correct to snatch up the 19-year old who’s 5-0. What’s more, all off his victories have come via finish, with three TKOs and two submissions. The UFC is throwing him right into the fire, booking his debut against the 12-1 Francisco Trevino, who should be eager for a win after losing his most recent bout to Johnny Case at UFC 188.
