Costa Rica and Canada have probably already done enough to assure they're going to be in the second stage of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. If either one can get three points against the other on Tuesday night, though, that squad won't have anything left to worry about when it comes to the final match day of the group stage.
This Gold Cup duel will go down Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. ET at BBVA Compass Stadium. The match will be televised live on FOX Sports 1.

Odds Analysis
The Costa Ricans are going to be relatively heavy favorites in every match in the group stage of the Gold Cup, though after nearly falling flat against Honduras, there has to be at least a bit of a pause for concern. This is, after all, a match that looks comparable, if not slightly more difficult.
Still, Los Ticos are better than 50/50 at -140 to take all three points for the second straight affair alongside a relatively low total of a flat 2 with -140 vig on the over.
How They Got Here
The Canadians had a few moments to be worried in their opening fixture against French Guiana on Friday night. They allowed successive goals in a span of just two minutes in truly shocking fashion. The Canucks were always on the front foot over the course of the first hour of the match, taking a 3-0 lead in the process. But those two goals allowed put them back in a bit of hot water in a match that had to be won.
Canada struck back one last time in the 85th minute thanks to Alphonso Davies' second goal of the match. It was a truly great moment for the 16-year old Davies, perhaps one of the crowning moments for any youngster in the history of Canadian soccer. His expectations are going to be sky high going forward for sure after such a great match.
Costa Rica put itself in a good position by beating Honduras in its opening match in Group A. Los Ticos weren't always the better of the two teams, though. The Hondurans truthfully had the better of the match for much of the night, and they were unlucky not to get at least one home past Patrick Pemberton in the Costa Rican net.
Still, it was Marcos Urena who was the hero of the match for Los Ticos. Costa Rica's striker picked up a big goal to put his squad in front, and it was able to more or less just hold on tight from there even with just two shots on goal for the entire match.

Bryan Ruiz was really nowhere to be found in the opening fixture against Honduras, and that's a big problem for Costa Rica. He's one of the vets of this tournament and is expecting to do big things as he reaches 100 career appearances for his nation. Urena might have been the goal scorer, but he's not going to be expected to get one in the back of the net all that often.
This Costa Rican team needs to be much better than it was against Honduras to acquire three points for certain in this match. That said, both of these teams know that one points is going to do the ultimate job, and that might be all that either one is going to get. We suspect this match will slow down in the end when both teams realize that the point is going to be good enough with a fixture to go in the group stage.
