Barring an incredible miracle, Arsenal is going to be bowing out of the Champions League on Tuesday night at home. The team's swansong comes in the second match against Bayern Munich, and there's a common thought that the Gunners aren't going to be overly interested in this matchup with bigger games in England to come to try to get them back in the UCL next year.
This Champions League duel will go down Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at 2:45 p.m. ET at Emirates Stadium. The match will be televised live on FOX Sports 1.

Odds Analysis
The Gunners are going to need to win by four goals against one of the best teams in the world if they want to advance in the Champions League, and that clearly isn't going to happen. Heck, Arsenal isn't even favored to win this match inside of 90 minutes, and it was never favored to advance out of this round even after leveling at 1-1 lead on the road in Munich a couple weeks ago.
Arsene Wenger's side is set at +193 on the moneyline, while Bayern Munich is at PK -136 and +135 on the moneyline.
The total is relatively high at a flat 3, but after such high scoring opening legs of the Round of 16 all throughout Europe, most of the totals have been inflated just a bit.
The First Meeting
At least the Gunners can say they were in this fixture for a hot minute. They fell behind early when Arjen Robben put the Reds up 1-0, and even though this match was 1-1 at the interval thanks to Alexis Sanchez, there was really never a doubt which way this was going.
However, it didn't have to be this bad for the Gunners. It was almost like the team flat out gave up after allowing Robert Lewandowski to score in the 53rd minute, as Bayern Munich played the rest of the match in the Arsenal half for all intents and purposes. The final tally, in fact, could have been much worse had the Reds capitalized on more of their chances between Thiago Alcantara's second goal and Thomas Muller's goal, the fifth of the night just before time.
Bayern Munich had 74 percent of the possession and had 12 of the 17 shots in the match on target.

Arsenal is really in a world of hurt right now. The team has fallen out of the Top 4 in the Premier League, and it's coming off of a bad 3-1 loss at Liverpool in a match that was never even remotely close. It was yet another match in which the team looked lost on the defensive end of the pitch, and a clinical team like Bayern Munich isn't going to let this go with just a four-goal margin.
Our only concern right now is that neither team is going to be playing its best side with plenty left to play for at home ( and in the case of Bayern Munich, there are quarterfinal matches ahead in the UCL, too ). The Reds though, know they can't take anything for granted. We haven't seen anything quite this strange in the UCL, but we've definitely seen some oddities. Such a dominant side in the first match won't want to give Arsenal any sense of hope in the second leg. We suspect an early strike from the Reds, followed by the kill shot shortly thereafter. When that's all complete, the two teams might as well just kick the ball around in the second half. We prefer Bayern Munich and the under, though we'd try to play the under in live betting after the ice is broken.
Champions League Odds: Bayern Munich 2, Arsenal 0
