All of the chalk has pretty much held up in the bottom half of the Champions League groups, and though occasionally, good little one pulled out a point at home, the big boys are basically ready to mathematically clinch their spots in the last 16 of this tournament. There's one notable exception though, in Group E, and that’s where a lot of the focus is going to be in Wednesday's matches in the UCL.
These Champions League duels will go down Wednesday, November 2, 2016, with most of the kickoffs taking place at 3:45 p.m. ET. The Juventus/Lyon match will be televised live on ESPN2, while the Tottenham/Bayer Leverkusen affair can be seen on FOX Sports 1.

Group E was always tabbed as the "Group of Death" in the Champions League, and we're going to see exactly why on Wednesday. These four teams are separated by a total of just three points, and CSKA has an opportunity to turn the group on its head if it can get a result on the road against AS Monaco.
The French side is in the best shape of the bunch and hasn't been beaten yet in three matches, and a point here is going to be good, though three would be significantly better and could effective wrap up a spot in the knockout rounds. That said, if CSKA can go on the road and get a result from this one as it did when these teams played to a 1-1 draw in Russia, things could get mighty interesting.
But things will be even more interesting for Tottenham and Bayer Leverkusen. The Spurs picked up a much-needed point at BayArena two weeks ago, and that's why has put them in a position to snare a spot in the last 16 of the UCL. That said, it can all go awry if the team can't get at least a point in this one. Tottenham is the slight betting favorite at -105, and this is arguably the biggest match the team has played in quite some time internationally.
Down the table in Group F, it's expected that both Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will lock in their places in the next round. Both are sitting on seven points, and if Sporting Lisbon has any chance whatsoever to close the gap, it's got to get at least a point in Dortmund this Wednesday. With Borussia Dortmund set at -220 on the moneyline, it's not looking good. Real Madrid is a massive away favorite at Legia Warsaw, especially notable considering the fact that the Polish side has been outscored 13-1 in its three matches to date in Group F.
Leicester City has never played in the UCL before, but you wouldn't know that based on the fact that it has three victories and has outscored its three foes 5-0 along the way to date in this tournament. The Foxes should coast from here into the next stage, and a point against FC Copenhagen on the road will clinch it up. Porto plays pointless Club Brugge, and if the Belgian side can't get at least a result from that match, its chances of continue European play into the new calendar year will be extinct.
Juventus and Sevilla are basically in the same boat as Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. Both are on seven points and playing against the minnows of Group H on Wednesday. Both teams picked up 1-0 wins away from home against the same teams they're playing against this week, and if these results hold up again as is expected to be the case, both favorites will be onto the last 16.
