Manchester City knows that six points in its last two matches of the year will leave it in the Champions League next season. Of course, most of the players who are on the pitch probably won't be around to see it, but there's still a sense of pride that must be played for when the Citizens play their last home match of the season against West Brom.
This English Premier League duel will go down Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 3 p.m. ET at Etihad Stadium. The match will be televised live on NBC Sports Network.

Odds Analysis
The Baggies just had the Premier League title celebrated on their home pitch by Chelsea, and the last thing they want to do is provide a celebration for the Citizens as well. Still, West Brom seems to be pretty well finished this year, and that should give Manchester City a huge edge. There's a reason why Pep Guardiola's side is set at -500 on the moneyline and is favored by a whopping goal and a half on the Asian Handicap with a number that is bordering upon -2.
The total is set at a flat 3, but again, the vig is definitely trending towards the over with the Citizens expecting to have no trouble putting the ball in the back of the WBA net.
Key Injuries
Manchester City won't have Claudio Bravo the rest of the way thanks to a calf injury he picked up against Manchester United two weeks ago. He joins Ilkay Gundogan on the touchline for this one for Guardiola.
WBA is actually relatively healthy at this point in the season. Matthew Phillips has a hamstring problem that will probably cost him the rest of the campaign, while Gareth McAuley will be a man to watch in the days leading up to this match after he was taken off against Chelsea with a clear limp.
Recent Form
Tony Pulis' side sits right in the middle of the EPL table, but the fact of the matter is that it hasn't been a great season. The Baggies had real hopes of finishing in the Top 6 or Top 7 to have a shot at playing European soccer next year, but instead, they'll top out at eighth and nowhere near Everton just above them. They've lost four straight home matches by identical 1-0 score lines, and the one roadie in the middle resulted in a 2-2 draw at Burnley. West Brom's last win in a match came against Arsenal on March 18.
City has two straight wins under its belt, and that's why it has the inside track for the Top 4. The 5-0 win over Crystal Palace and 2-1 victory over Leicester City were nice results, though there's still a shocking sense that the Citizens aren't always the best team on the pitch against these lesser sides. The argument could have been made that the Foxes deserved at least a point at the Etihad on Saturday.

We just can't trust Manchester City at a price like this one. The players on the pitch almost have this sense of flat out not caring, and Guardiola has already made his plans quite clear to exhaust a slew of options in the transfer window while being set to terminate contracts of so many of his known players.
It's not that West Brom is in great form; it isn't. But if the Baggies can at least put a shadow of doubt on this match in the first half hour or so, we can't help but wonder if they're going to steal a point and put the Citizens in a tougher spot to reach the Top 4 on the final day of the season.
English Premier League Odds: Manchester City 0, West Brom 0
