El Clasico. Are there two better words for soccer fans to hear than that? If Barcelona has any chance whatsoever to claw back into La Liga and make a title race out of this, it has no choice but to go to the Bernabeu and pick up all three points. It's easier said than done for sure, particularly with Real flying high from its win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
This La Liga duel will go down Sunday, April 23, 2017, at 2:45 p.m. ET at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The match will be televised live on beIN Sports.

Odds Analysis
Obviously when you've got teams that can light up the scoreboard like this and have one team that is in dire need of a victory, you're going to see a big time total. And a big time total is what we have at a virtually flat 3.5. Four goals is a lot in a match, but if the Champions League is any indication for both of these sides, wide open soccer is going to be the name of the game.
Real is the slight favorite at +110 on the moneyline, but it's worth remembering that Los Blancos are three points and a match in hand clear. Even a loss isn't the end of the world, but a draw would probably see this out the rest of the way with ease with Barca having just five matches left after this and effectively six points to make up.
Key Injuries
The worst part about this whole thing for Barcelona is that it's going to have to go at it against Real Madrid without Neymar. Therein lies a question: How in the heck is the team going to line up? It's so used to playing a 4-3-3 that we have a hard time imagining Arda Turan being anywhere near as effective as the Brazilian phenom.
A calf injury is probably going to sideline Gareth Bale for Real Madrid and will likely at least keep him out of the Starting XI.
Recent Form
Forget about the fact that Barcelona was knocked out of the Champions League by Juventus. Just looking at its La Liga form is frightening. Sure, the team beat Real Sociedad 3-2 last weekend, but that was a scary result at home against a team that easily should have been put away. That came on the heels of a 2-0 loss at Malaga, one that caused Neymar to go off the deep end and get a red card and a subsequent longer suspension that followed thanks to showing up the official on duty for the match.
Real Madrid meanwhile, is rolling. Cristiano Ronaldo logged his 100th career Champions League in the 4-2 victory over Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals. Technically, that match was lost in 90 minutes, but the end result at 120 was a triumph that was good enough to advance. If not for a poor own goal, this would have been over in 90 anyway against the German giants. Los Blancos have only really had one bad effort in La Liga of late, and it's easy to forgive a 1-1 draw at home against Atletico Madrid.

El Clasico is going to be the real deal this year, and though this total is insanely high, we're going to go for the gusto. It could be a big, big day for Ronaldo as well as Alvaro Morata up front, and we wouldn't be surprised, particularly if the Catalans decided to go with more of a 3-4-3 formation and less of a 4-3-3, if the goals start to open up in bunches from the get go. Maybe the two sides only end in a draw, but it'll be a fun route to get there. We wouldn't want to try to handicap anything aside from Barca's defense being a mess.
La Liga Odds: Real Madrid 3, Barcelona 3
