There aren't all that many teams in the world that can legitimately compete with the United States Women's National Team. That said, China has one of the few who probably have a shot, making Sunday's friendly in the USA's "Victory Tour" one of the more entertaining battles for the Americans.

ODDS ANALYSIS
Whereas the United States has been huge favorites basically every step of the way here on the "Victory Tour," this is going to be a little bit different in all likelihood. Sure, the Americans are going to be the favorites in this game, but they aren't going to be laying four or five goals as we've seen in most of the other matches.
Instead, figure you'll see a number right around what the Yanks were against Brazil at around -1 or -1.5 on the Asian Handicap.
ROSTER ANALYSIS
The big talk for the United States in recent weeks was the cancelation of the game which was supposed to be played in Honolulu against Trinidad & Tobago. Jill Ellis lost Megan Rapinoe, one of her best midfielders for likely the entirety of 2016 as well as the rest of the "Victory Tour."
That said, most of the rest of the names you're used to seeing are back in Phoenix. This is the second-to-last game for Abby Wambach, so expect to see her for at least a half in this match before her final duel in New Orleans against this same China team next week.
Alex Morgan, Sydney Leroux and the rest of the big time American strikers will be working hard to find open space against a China defense which has been fantastic for the most part over the course of the entire calendar year.
Meanwhile, China is going to be bringing a roster which is literally chock full of players who play domestically, many of which are teammates. Just one of the players on the entire roster, net minder Wang Fei play professionally in China's women's soccer league.
RECENT FORM
It's been a tough year for China. This is a team which did make the last eight in the World Cup, losing to the United States. That was a nice result, but losing matches to South Korea, North Korea and Japan in the Women's East Asian Cup was incredibly disappointing. All of that was followed up by two losses against Spain. Since then, the Chinese have beaten England and Italy and drawn against both Australia and Italy in friendlies, but all in all, this has largely been a disappointment.
The Americans are 18-4-0 in their last 22 matches overall. Included in there was the romp through the World Cup, getting through the "Group of Death" with ease before destroying all of their foes en route in the knockout rounds to claim yet another championship.
ANALYSIS AND ODDS PREDICTION
We like the Chinese in this match with the Asian Handicap. Whereas so many of these teams the Stars and Stripes have played against in these friendly matches are disorganized and don't play together all that often, China is together basically the entire year with both national team duties and playing at home.
That said, the Americans are sure to win this match assuming that field conditions don't end up being a tremendous issue in Phoenix as has been the case in so many other venues along the way on this "Victory Tour." There's just too much in the way of offense for the United States to be stopped for the full 90 minutes even if China does have one of the most organized defenses in the world. That said, this could be a very similar result to the 1-0 win for the US in the World Cup.
United States 1, China 0
