Clearly, the Premier League remains a four-team league, as there isn't a club outside of the "big four" with any opportunity whatsoever to win England's domestic title.

Chelsea is the favorite to repeat as champion at +155, though we aren't sure that's the best bet on the board, as we'll demonstrate in just a moment.

Manchester City is the second favorite at +300, while Arsenal and Manchester United are just behind. Liverpool is being given a puncher's chance at 30 to 1, while Tottenham fans believe the Spurs have a legit chance of capturing the title this year at 125 to 1. No one else is better than 450 to 1 on the board.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE

The first few weeks of fixtures in the Premier League lend themselves to some opportunities for bettors to take advantage of futures.

Part of the reason why Chelsea is such a big favorite to kick off the season is because it shouldn’t have much of a challenge out of the gate. Yes, there is a road fixture at Manchester City, but aside from that, the team kicks off the year against Swansea City and Crystal Palace at home, while it has to visit Everton and West Brom in addition to the game at the Ethiad.

Arsenal, which beat Chelsea in the season-opening Community Shield on Sunday, has five straight matches to start the season off in which it will be a big favorite against West Ham at home, Crystal Palace on the road, Liverpool at home, Newcastle on the road and Stoke City at home, making the Gunners ones to watch for sure.

TEAMS TO WATCH

Arsenal – The Gunners are our "dark horses" this year to win it all, and you might be really well-served getting in on them at the start of the season. Not only is that schedule really favorable, but the fact of the matter is that this really might be the best team in the league now that it has one of the best net minders in the world in Petr Cech. Cech is going to teach this team how to win matches, and with the lack of experience on the roster, that could really end up playing into the hands of Arsene Wenger, who badly needs a successful campaign to keep the cynics off of his backside.

Manchester City – Yes, the Citizens haven't played all that well in the preseason, getting run off the pitch by both Stuttgart and Real Madrid, but they have picked up one tremendously talented piece to the puzzle in Raheem Sterling. At some point, Gael Clichy and Vincent Kompany are going to make this defense right, and when that happens, look out. There's plenty of talent here from a striking perspective, and bringing in Sterling for that is only going to help out.

Norwich City – We know that City isn't contending for a Premier League title a year after coming up from Championship, but if there's a team which can get into the top half of the table which was promoted last year, the Canaries are the ones to watch. Alex Neil has made some prudent moves in the offseason to make this team rock solid, and an opening set of fixtures which reads vs. Crystal Palace, at Sunderland, vs. Stoke City, at Southampton, vs. Bournemouth is more than manageable. Carrow Road could be a house of horrors for the opposition this year, as Norwich has had a history of being plucky, if nothing else at home in the Premier League.
