Bournemouth has had a pretty lousy start to the season. The Cherries have yet to pick up a point on the young season, and this week isn't a good time for any of that to change. Manchester City is fortunate to have picked up four points on the young campaign, and it theoretically shouldn't have a problem adding to its tally this year.
This Barclays Premier League duel will go down Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 7:30 a.m. ET at Dean Court. The match will be televised live on NBC Sports Network.

Odds Analysis
There's a good chance that this match is going to have a boatload of goals hit the back of the net. Neither one of these teams are shy about going forward, and that should at least leave for a lot of openings.
Man City is a huge -345 favorite, and against a total of 3.5, there's an implication that the Citizens could end up netting three.
If you like the Cherries in this one, you can pick up a huge price of +850 on them to win this one outright.
Key Injuries
Manager Eddie Howe already has a big problem on his hands on the injury front. Bournemouth is playing this one without Simon Francis, Junior Stanislas and Callum Wilson. It's not a huge injury list for sure, but this is one of the thinnest teams in the Premier League. The Cherries can't afford to be a man down, let alone be down three who would normally be in the Starting XI.
At some point, Benjamin Mendy and Ilkay Gundogan are going to come back in the lineup after suffering long-term injuries. Could it be this match? It's entirely possible. Kyle Walker won't play after getting booked twice last week against Everton. Fabian Delph was also taken off the pitch in that draw against the Toffees. It's unknown as to whether he'll be able to play in this one.
Recent Form
Howe has made it clear that Bournemouth doesn't need to panic after losing matches against West Brom and Watford to kick off the season. That said, at least the Cherries picked up their first victory of the season in the second round of the Carabao Cup against Birmingham. That said, that wasn't a match that anyone is going be writing home about at Dean Court. If the secondary cup run ended in August, no one would have been all that upset.
City had a tough match against Everton at home on Monday night. The crowd at the Etihad was on pins and needles throughout basically the full 90 minutes against the Toffees. Wayne Rooney put Everton up 1-0 just beyond the first half hour of the match. Things looked bleak when Walker was sent off for a second booking. Yet it was Raheem Sterling who saved the guy with a goal eight minutes before time to salvage a 1-1 draw.

Pep Guardiola's side hasn't been at its best yet this season, but we think it's going to get back in form in this one. For a team that played a long period of time with just 10 men against a good Everton team, Man City put forth a spirited effort. If the Citizens can show that type of fight with all 11 on the pitch against Bournemouth, we don't think this is going to be much of a contest.
The Cherries are very thin in defense and will have all sorts of problems slowing down the likes of Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus and Sterling. Don't be shocked if Guardiola makes a few changes at the front and goes for some early goals to really get his team going.
Barclays Premier League Odds: Manchester City 4, Bournemouth 1
