Odds Analysis

With the way Tottenham continues to play, you have to wonder if Chelsea really does need to pick up all 12 points to win the Premier League. The pressure really is on down the stretch. The Blues aren't exactly odds-on favorites to win this match, but at +110, they've got the advantage for sure. Let's not forget that this team is 11-3-3 on the road this season, and this is about as good as it's ever going to get in a league like the Barclays Premier League.

The total is set at a relatively flat 2.5 even though Everton has scored 41 goals this season at home against just 19 on the road.

Key Injuries

Chelsea continues to make it through much of this season without anything in the way of big time injuries. The Blues left their home match with Southampton without any new knocks to worry about, and as a result, Antonio Conte literally has his entire roster available to him for selection in his Starting XI.

Everton is still dealing with its share of problems. Muhamed Besic, Yannick Bolasie, Seamus Coleman, Ramiro Funes Mori, Aaron Lennon and James McCarthy are all out of the lineup right now for Ronald Koeman. Koeman has held things together to essentially ensure Everton is going to finish in the Top 7 and get to play in the Europa League next year, but there's really nowhere to go from here for the Toffees at this late juncture of the season.

Recent Form

Everton probably was fortunate to get out of its match last week against West Ham with a point. The Hammers had more of the run of play for sure, and to walk out with a scoreless draw was a good result. The Toffees have won eight consecutive Premier League matches at home dating all the way back to the start of the calendar year. They've scored at least two goals in each of those matches, and with as poorly as Chelsea's defense has played in recent weeks, this could be a problem.

The Blues took care of some nerves by beating Southampton in the middle of the week to hold the four-point advantage. Tottenham kept pace though, and that keeps pouring the pressure on Chelsea. The Blues haven't been bad, but they've shown signs of cracking by allowing two goals in their last three matches overall, including against Tottenham in the FA Cup last weekend.

Free Soccer Betting Pick

This is a really nice price on Everton to win this fixture outright. The Toffees aren't necessarily the real deal, nor are they going to be the best team on the pitch, but there's a degree of pressure here on Chelsea that might not be able to be overcome. Romelu Lukaku has been outstanding all season long, and if he can figure out how to punch a hole or two in the Chelsea defense, this is a winnable fixture. Could the margin in the Premier League race be cut to one by the end of the weekend? We think so.
