What a week Everton could be set to have! Had you told Toffees supporters they were going to get a total of three points between matches from Arsenal and Liverpool at home this week, they would have taken it. Now, they're effectively on house money against the Reds at home on Monday in a duel that could really propel them closer towards the coveted Top 5.

Odds Analysis
Everton was a big dog at home against Arsenal, and it's a big dog here in this one as well against Liverpool at +262. Liverpool is just about odds-on at +108, but it's not quite at that point like Arsenal was.
The total is relatively similar from the two matches the Toffees have played this week, as this one sits at 2.5 with -130 vig on the over.
Key Injuries
Everton made it through the match against Arsenal without incident on the injury front, but this match will have to be played without Phil Jagielka unless the FA decides to overturn the red card he picked up in that match that reduced the hosts to 10 men for the final few minutes of the match.
Liverpool very likely won't have Emre Can or Joseph Gomez available for this match. Philippe Coutinho is out for the rest of the calendar year at least with an ankle injury, while Marko Grujic is going to miss at least one more match dinged up as well. Joel Matip was a late scratch against Middlesbrough in the middle of the week, and he might ultimately have a shot to play again on Monday.
Recent Form
Adam Lallana knew that Liverpool needed a boost this week with two really tough away matches, and boy, did he ever give it. He was brilliant and earned Man of the Match honors against Middlesbrough in a 3-0 win on the road that was as emphatic as the final score suggests, and that ended a two-match lull in which the team struggled to a 2-2 draw against West Ham at home and lost 4-3 at Bournemouth when it was ahead by two goals against a team that had never beat it prior to December 4.
Everton really came up with something special against Arsenal. This was really a game that came against the proverbial run of play for sure, as the Gunners were in great form coming in, while the Toffees had been beaten by Watford 3-2 and hadn't won since October 30. Alas, the 2-1 triumph was massive for Ronald Koeman, a manager who has really been on a bit of a toasty seat of late. But can he keep it up?
Free Soccer Betting Pick
That's really the million dollar question right now. Everton doesn't feel like it deserved its three points from that match, particularly with as frantic as stoppage time ended up being. The Toffees know they have a really tough road ahead, and this is just the continuation of said problems.
Liverpool has been playing better than its results suggest, and we still think it's got a good shot to challenge Chelsea with the right moves in the January transfer window. We punted Arsenal against Everton at Goodison Park on Tuesday, and we're going to do the same thing with Liverpool here on Monday to finish up the week.
Premier League Odds: Liverpool 2, Everton 1
