Jurgen Klopp praised his Liverpool side on Sunday following the Capital One Cup Final. His Reds were beaten by Manchester City, but they can get a huge bit of revenge when the two teams turn right back around and face each other again on Wednesday in the Premier League.

ODDS ANALYSIS
This is a big match for Liverpool, and that's why it's the favorite in this game. If the Reds can win this one, they'll still be close enough to striking distance for that fourth Champions League spot next season. It would be an unbelievable turnaround for a team which had to fire Brendan Rodgers early on in the campaign. Of course, there's a long road to sow still from there, but winning this match would be the first step towards something potentially truly special at Anfield.
The Reds are lined at +155 in this match against the +185 for Man City, proof that this fixture could be every bit as close as the 1-1 draw which went all the way to penalties on Sunday at Wembley Stadium.
The total is set at 2.5 with -120 vig on the under.
KEY INJURIES
Mamdou Sakho was taken off on Sunday thanks to a head injury, and we can't imagine he's going to turn around and play just a few days later after what looked like a potentially ugly knock. Liverpool also has to be concerned about Adam Lallana, who felt like he was just limping around at times on the pitch. Daniel Sturridge also reportedly cramped up towards the end of the match on Sunday and will be reevaluated on Monday.
City's injury list is still extensive, though it came out of the Capital One Cup Final no worse for wear. Kevin De Bruyne, Fabian Delph and Samir Nasri are all likely to sit this one out.
QUOTE TO NOTE
"You have to feel how it is to lose. It's really not the best moment, but tomorrow morning, we can change everything. Don't worry, we will go on and we will get better. We have to go the hard way, that is how it is. If we carry on and work really hard, there is light at the end of the tunnel and another chance at Manchester City this week." – Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on the loss in the Capital One Cup Final to the Citizens
RECENT FORM
There isn't a lot for City to be proud of right now. The Citizens did capture England's minor silverware on Sunday, but the match wasn't impressive on their side, and they really haven't played a comprehensive match on English soil since beating Aston Villa 4-0 in the FA Cup on January 30.
Liverpool hasn't played in an EPL match since thrashing Aston Villa 6-0 on the road, though its results since that point haven't been terrible, a 1-0 aggregate over two matches against Augsburg and the loss in the Capital One Cup Final.
ANALYSIS AND ODDS PREDICTION
Liverpool deserved better in our estimation on Sunday. The Reds were awful from the penalty spot and weren't good enough to win once the shootout started, but they were good in that overtime period and could've netted the winner on a few instances.
What Klopp proved on Sunday was that his side wasn't afraid of Manchester City. Sure, that wasn't quite the fullest City side the likes of which he'll see on Wednesday, but it was a good side for sure and one which probably still had the talent of the best team in England.
With home field advantage now firmly on their side, we suspect the Reds will go forward and come forth with a big win to give them one last shot to push towards a spot in the Champions League next season.
