The argument could be made that Manchester City shouldn't even be all that worried about any of its Premier League matches over the course of the rest of the season. The Citizens are 15 points clear of the rest of the field with 16 matches left to play, and they've only dropped four points thus far the entire season.
That said, Pep Guardiola doesn't seem to be taking his foot off the gas pedal in the slightest, and that's bad news for Liverpool this weekend.

Odds Analysis
Manchester City has outscored its foes 64-13 this year, and the fact that it's averaging just a tick under three goals per game is remarkable, especially while maintaining the best defensive record in the EPL.
You'd think that the best defensive team in the league shouldn't have totals of 3.5 with regularity, but with all these goals Guardiola's men have been tallying, it's hard to come up with any different number.
It also might look odd to see City set at +115 on the moneyline. Just remember that Liverpool has only been beaten twice this term, though one of those two was at the Etihad in September.
Key Injuries
Part of Guardiola's success this year is the fact that he's generally been able to field whatever Starting XI he wants. Injuries haven't been a problem.
Vincent Kompany has missed the fixtures just after the holidays and into the new year with a minor injury, but his absence seems to be more about precaution than an actual problem.
Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge have been out for a couple duels for Liverpool, but they're both going to rush to get back into the lineup for the Manchester City visit. Jordan Henderson is back in training as well after getting hurt on December 22. He hasn't been back in the lineup yet but could provide a huge boost to the Reds, especially after Philippe Coutinho was transferred to Barcelona just a few days ago.
Recent Form
Liverpool's first match in the post-Coutinho era was a good one, a 2-1 victory over Everton in the FA Cup. That duel came without Sturridge or Salah in the lineup, and it looked for everything that it still had the better of the two sides. Then again, it's far different playing against Manchester City and playing against Everton.
Bristol City surprisingly gave Manchester City everything it could handle in the first leg of a home-and-home series in the Carabao Cup earlier this week. The Championship side went ahead 1-0, but City stormed back to put two home to take an advantage into the second leg.
That's three straight wins for the Citizens, who still have yet to be beaten domestically this season in any competition.

All good things must come to an end, and we think the Man City streak is set to close on Sunday. An undefeated season in the Premier League is virtually impossible, and we see a ton of value with Salah and Sturridge coming back.
Jurgen Klopp will want to prove that his men are still capable of challenging for a top four spot even though it seems as though Liverpool is far more interested in selling than in buying during the January transfer window. This is the perfect forum for that to happen.
Premier League Odds: Liverpool 4, Manchester City 2
