Tottenham-vs.-Arsenal-bm

They call it Saint Totteringham's Day. For Arsenal supporters, this is the day that the Gunners clinch finishing in front of Tottenham in the EPL season. Twenty-two years ago marked the first Saint Totteringham's Day. But for the first time, since 1994-95, Tottenham is going to finish in front of the Gunners. What will the Spurs supporters call it? We're not sure. But if they win the North London Derby on Sunday, they'll officially be finishing in front of their arch rivals.

Odds Analysis

Tottenham has realized for a long time that this is its most important day of its season. Not only is this arguably the derby of all derbies in England, and not only is this a chance to finish in front of Arsenal for the first time in over two decades, but it's also going to be a crucial tilt in the championship picture as well.

The Spurs enter Sunday four points back of Chelsea for the Premier League lead with just five fixtures left to go. Time is running out for sure, and Tottenham might have to play perfect soccer the rest of the year to have a shot at claiming a title.

The Spurs, as a result, are -118 favorites in this match, the first time they've been odds-on favorites to win the North London Derby in quite some time.

The total is set at a flat 3 with -114 vig on the over.

Key Injuries

Arsenal has had a frustrating season for sure on the injury front. The Gunners are playing without Jeff Reine Adelaide and Santiago Cazorla for now, but there is certainly a big question about Laurent Koscielny on Sunday as well. He'll be evaluated ahead of this match, but his latest knee knock is making it seem more and more unlikely that he'll be in the fold for this one.

There aren't a lot of major injuries Tottenham is dealing with at this point. The biggest question is that Moussa Dembele was taken off at halftime against Crystal Palace thanks to an ankle problem. He's a big question mark at this point, but with the short turnaround time between that Wednesday duel and this one on Sunday, we aren't optimistic he'll be on the pitch.

Recent Form

Tottenham just refuses to lose. It's not like Chelsea has fallen apart to put the Premier League title in the balance. The Blues have only dropped a handful of points over the course of the last couple months, but the Spurs literally have not dropped a single point in eight consecutive fixtures, including a 1-0 win over Palace at Selhurst Park last weekend.

Arsene Wenger is an embattled manager for sure, but at least the Gunners are playing relatively well down the stretch. They're on to the FA Cup Final after beating Manchester City at Wembley City, and that was one of the three matches in a row that Arsenal has won.

Free Soccer Betting Pick

Beating Tottenham wouldn't fix the entire season for Wenger for sure, but let's remember that this Arsenal squad is still very much so in the Top 4 chase as well, especially after Manchester City and Manchester United played to a scoreless draw on Thursday.

Tottenham is on a tremendous roll, but we can't help but wonder, especially if Chelsea wins earlier in the day to stretch the lead back out to seven, if the Spurs are going to fall here and perhaps lose and real chance to win the Premier League. Eventually, good fortune has to come to an end, and this could be a bitter pill to swallow at White Hart Lane.

BPL Odds: Arsenal 3, Tottenham 2
