2015 BNP Paribas Open Results
Novak Djokovic captured his 50th tour-level title on Sunday at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden as he lifted the BNP Paribas Open trophy for the fourth time with a 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-2 victory over Roger Federer.
He became the 12th player in the Open Era to reach the 50-titles milestone, passing coach Boris Becker.
Djokovic, who dismantled Andy Murray on Saturday, seemingly took control of the match by breaking his opponent in the third game of the next.
With the Serb leading 5-3 and looking in command, Federer hit back and then a crucial double fault from Djokovic allowed the Swiss ace to send the match into a decider in dramatic fashion.
As the third set wore on, the match would become a war of attrition - a survival of the fittest. Djokovic weathered the Federer storm and another double fault in a critical stage, this time by the 33 year old, would hand the break right back. Out of nowhere, Djokovic would conjure two match points with Federer serving down 2-5 15/40 and clinched his fourth Indian Wells title when the Swiss pulled a forehand wide.

Novak Djokovic beats Roger Federer to claim BNP Paribas Open title
Novak Djokovic banished the doubts that had crept into his mind with victory over Roger Federer to win his first title of the season at the BNP Paribas Open.
The Serbian arrived in Indian Wells without a title for the first time since 2006 and was taken to a deciding set in three of his first five matches.
But he regrouped to force a tie-break, which he dominated to win 3-6 6-3 7-6 (7/3), collecting a crystal trophy so heavy he could barely lift it and a cheque for US dollars one million.
Djokovic said: "Considering the fact that I came into the American hard-court season without a trophy, the first time in many years, it was a different feel.

Rafael Nadal silences doubters, rallies to win title
Rafael Nadal capped his four-tournament comeback from injury by winning his first hard-court title since 2010, beating Juan Martin del Potro 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the final of the BNP Paribas Open on Sunday. Nadal's 600th career victory gave him a record 22 ATP Masters 1000 titles, one more than Roger Federer.
Maria Sharapova wins 2013 BNP Paribas Open
Maria Sharapova is the 2013 BNP Paribas Open champion, dominating Caroline Wozniacki in the women's final, 6-2, 6-2. It's her second career championship at Indian Wells.
Sharapova has had Wozniacki's number in the past, and Sunday's performance was no different. The 25-year-old Russian dominated the match from beginning to end, never allowing Wozniacki to get into it. The match was over in less than 90 minutes, as Sharapova barely broke a sweat winning the title.
