The Arkansas Razorbacks made quick work of their side of the bracket at the College World Series, navigating through undefeated to advance to the national championship series. Now they are just two wins away from being crowned the best team in college baseball. Arkansas had little trouble dispatching of some talented teams but will face arguably the best in the country for the title.
The Oregon State Beavers lost their opener at the College World Series but fought all the way back to win their bracket. Oregon State knocked off Mississippi State on Saturday to advance to the national championship series.
Arkansas is undefeated in College World Series play and should be nice and rested for this matchup, but Oregon State was the favorite heading in and will be the favorite to come away with the title. It all comes down to this as two of the most talented teams in the country face off for the championship in College World Series gambling.
The College World Series contest between the Oregon State Beavers and Arkansas Razorbacks will be held at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska. The game will take place on Monday, June 25th, 2018, at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.

Arkansas breezed through its side of the bracket without a loss. The Razorbacks defeated Texas in its opening round matchup and then beat Texas Tech to vault into the final four. Arkansas faced off with No. 1 seed the Florida Gators with a national championship series berth on the line. The Razorbacks had some margin for error as they could have lost the first game between the teams and remained alive due to the double-elimination format, but didn’t waste its time, winning 5-2 on Friday to make the finals.
Starting pitcher Isaiah Campbell threw 5.1 innings of two-hit, two-run ball, striking out eight and walking none. Relievers Jake Reindl and Matt Cronin blanked the Gators to secure the win. Arkansas was led on offense by third baseman Casey Martin, who finished 4-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a three runs scored. Dominic Fletcher also played a key role, going 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs.
Oregon State had to beat Mississippi State twice to advance and did so with ease, capturing a 12-2 win in the opener and a 5-2 victory in the winner-take-all contest on Saturday.
Kevin Abel pitched a gem, allowing only one run in seven innings of work. Tyler Malone had the big hit, socking a three-run home run in a five-run third inning. Mississippi State threatened in the ninth inning, scoring a run and loading the bases with two outs, but Oregon State escaped the jam to move on to the national championship series.
