The League of Legends Spring Split is wrapping up in Europe and North America this weekend, and the regular season has finished in Korea and will finish in China by Monday. That will leave Esports fans feeling almost as empty as fans of traditional sports. However, many of those fans have the benefit of simply turning to CS:GO, DotA 2, or Rocket League to pass the time. We’ll cover those Esports more in this space next week.

The first round of the LCK Spring Split Playoffs gauntlet will take place less than 48 hours after the conclusion of the regular season. KT Rolster will likely be favored after ending the regular season on a high note, but DAMWON Gaming are supremely talented. DAMWON beat KT Rolster 2-0 in their first meeting this season, yet KT got the better of DAMWON in the most recent match in late March. The key for DAMWON will be the play of Nuguri and ShowMaker, as their two strong laners have largely carried the team.

Kumo was devastating in the top lane in that series on Ornn and Sett so look for FlyQuest to ban those champions away from him this time around. The big battle will be between European mid laners Jiizuke and PowerOfEvil in the mid lane, and the player that has the edge will likely lead his team to a victory
