In the same way all of the current North American tracks bring phenomenal lineups of races, horses and jockeys. Yet this weekend Saratoga stands apart. Starting with the Grade 1 $250,000 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap does Saratoga man the marquee of weekend acing. Though this may be true there is plenty to bet on at all of the top North American tracks. It’s a promising weekend of excitement not to be missed!

Saratoga – Saratoga Springs, New York – Saturday and Sunday
Saturday brings 11 races to Saratoga with two features. They would be the Grade 1 $250,000 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap and the $200,000 Grade 2 Ballston Spa Stakes. Sunday totals 11 more races. Featured for Sunday will be the Grade 2 $150,000 Bernard Baruch Handicap.
Joel Rosario is lead jockey at Saratoga with over $472,000 in earnings. Rosario has 31 starts with eight wins, three second, and two third place finishes.
Monmouth Park – Oceanport, New Jersey – Saturday and Sunday
Saturday will bring 10 races to the Monmouth Park schedule. Top billing goes to the $75,000 Irish War Cry Handicap as the feature race. Following on Sunday are 10 more races on the docket. Featured is the $100,000 Jersey Derby Stakes.
First in the jockey standings at Monmouth is Paco Lopez with over $908,000 in earnings. In 57 starts he has 17 wins, 13 second and nine third place finishes.
Gulfstream Park – Hallandale, Florida – Saturday and Sunday
Saturday and Sunday both offer a total of 10 races per day at Gulfstream Park.
Edgard J. Zavas leads Gulfstream jockeys with over $2.3 million in earnings. He has 480 starts with 80 wins, 77 second, and 59 third place finishes.
Second at Gulfstream is Emisael Jaramillo with over $2.2 million in winnings. That includes 446 starts with 73 wins, 62 second, and 56 third place finishes.
Del Mar- Del Mar, California – Saturday and Sunday
Saturday kicks off the weekend with 11 races on the Del Mar card while Sunday’s schedule has another 11 races. Del Mar has two marquee events for the weekend. Saturday is the Grade 2 $150,000 San Clemente Stakes. Then on Sunday the $125,000 California Dreamin’ Stakes gets top billing.
Overall, the top Del Mar jockey is Umberto Rispoli with over $277,000 in earnings. Rispoli has 21 starts with seven wins, three second, and three third place finishes.
Next is Abel Cedillo with over $167,000 in earnings. Cedillo has 28 starts with four wins, two second, and five third place finishes.
Third place in the Del Mar jockey standings is Juan Hernandez with over $133,000 in winnings. Hernandez has 22 starts with two wins, five second, and two third place finishes.
Meanwhile Drayden Van Dyke has one of the best win percentages at Del Mar along with over $116,000 in earnings. Van Dyke has 16 starts with three wins, one second, and two third place finishes.
Woodbine – Rexdale, Ontario – Saturday and Sunday
Canada’s top track brings a big Saturday of action with 11 races including two features. The Marine Stakes is a $125,000 Grade 3 race. So too is the $125,000 Grade 3 Selene sharing the marquee. Sunday brings 10 more Woodbine races. With the main event focus is on the Grade 3 $125,000 Seagram Cup Stakes.
Prairie Meadows - Altoona, Iowa – Saturday and Sunday
First on Saturday is 12 races for the schedule at Prairie Meadows. Featured is the $70,000 Iowa Stallion Futurity. Sunday will bring 11 more Prairie Meadows races.
Delaware Park – Wilmington, Delaware – Saturday
There will be 10 races on the Delaware Park Saturday schedule.
