The sports schedule has never been busier or better and horse racing continues to be a big part of it. This week Belmont Park will lead the way with some of the best horses, jockeys, and trainers in North America. The home of the Belmont Stakes will have loaded cards on both Thursday and Friday with two of the biggest races of the week with the $100,000 Joseph A Gimma Stakes on Thursday and the $100,000 Bertram F Bongard Stakes on Friday.

Belmont Park – Elmont, New York – Thursday and Friday
Thursday’s Belmont Park schedule has a total of nine races with the main event being the $100,000 Joseph A Gimma Stakes. On Friday there are nine more races at Belmont with the main event being the $100,000 Bertram F Bongard Stakes.
So far at the new Belmont meet Manuel Franco is the first place jockey with over $307,000 in earnings. Franco has 35 starts with six wins, six second, and seven third place finishes. Franco has a win percentage of 17% with a top three finish rate off 51%.
Jose Lezcano is in second place at Belmont Park with over $296,000 in winnings. Lezcano has 32 starts with five wins, seven second, and six third place finishes. His win percentage is 16% with a top three finish rate of 56%.

Remington Park – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – Thursday and Friday
Thursday has a total of nine races on the Remington Park Card. Friday also has a total of nine races on the schedule.

There are seven races on the Monday Prairie Meadows card. Friday will bring a total of 10 races to the Prairie Meadows schedule.

Woodbine will have eight races on the Thursday schedule. For Friday Woodbine has 10 more races on the schedule.
Parx Racing – Bensalem, Pennsylvania – Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
On Monday Parx Racing has a total of 11 races on the schedule. There are 11 more races on the Parx Racing card for both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Golden Gate Fields – Albany, California – Thursday and Friday
There are seven races on the Golden Gate Thursday card. And then Friday will offer eight more races on the Golden Gate schedule.
