The NBA betting week concludes on Sunday, March 17 with seven games on the NBA schedule in which to build a winning NBA parlay. As we enter the final month of the season time is getting shorter and shorter to cash a winning ticket, but there is still time. Four of the seven games will be televised in a pair of doubleheaders starting with a rematch of the 2021 NBA Finals between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks at 1 p.m. ET on ABC. Phoenix earned a payout win with a 114-106 home win last month. The second game is a Western Conference showdown between defending champion Denver and Dallas at 3:30 p.m. ET. Luka Doncic will continue to make his move toward NBA MVP after recently registering six straight 30-point triple-doubles.
The Boston Celtics have been the best team in the NBA all season reaching the 50-win mark in their 64th game. They’ve also been on a major heater at the betting window going 9-2 ATS in 11 games following their 123-107 win at Utah on Tuesday. NBA TV airs a doubleheader on Sunday night with Brooklyn visiting San Antonio at 7 p.m. ET getting it started. The night concludes with a matchup between Atlanta and the LA Clippers at 9:30 p.m. ET. The Clips are dealing with a few injuries following the loss of Russell Westbrook and most recently Kawhi Leonard. The good news is that Leonard’s ailment isn’t considered long-term.

One of the worst teams in the NBA has actually been a good bet for me on my NBA parlays. I’ve backed the Washington Wizards a few times and they paid off like they did last week beating the Miami Heat outright, 110-108, as an 11.5-point underdog. They are a profitable road team with payouts in nearly 59 percent of their games, but it’s been a different story for them at home. The Wiz saved me from a winless ticket since Orlando and Minnesota both failed to cover.
Because the Wizards have stunk at home winning only four of 30 games with payouts in a NBA worst 33.3 percent of their chances, the league-leading Celtics are a good bet. Boston won both earlier contests getting the cash in a 126-107 road rout back in October. And the Cs are rolling with payouts in three straight games and in nine of their last 11.
Just when it looked like the Bucks had turned a corner under Doc Rivers a four-game road trip to California brought them down. Losing three of four on the trip the Bucks are happy to be back home taking on the Suns on Sunday. They are a .500 road team but have won more than 78 percent of their home games. I expect Milwaukee will get back to playing some kind of defense after allowing at least 117 points in each of the road games. Giannis Antetokounmpo played like a MVP during the slide scoring at least 30 points in each of the final three games during the trip and averages 30.8 points, the third-most in the NBA.
Don’t look now but the defending champion Nuggets have taken over the top spot in the West. A NBA Finals rematch with Miami on Wednesday turned into a 100-88 laugher giving Denver its fourth straight win and 10th in the last 11 games. The Nuggets are also 8-3 ATS in that span. Even when Nikola Jokic has an off night Denver is good enough to win by 26, like they did against the Mavs in mid-December. Jokic had just eight points in that game but he went off for 33 points and 14 boards in a 125-114 win and cover in November.
