So is everyone out there having fun chasing overs in this series? I kid, I kid; but seriously, enough is enough already! The postseason matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets was billed as potentially being one of the highest scoring series in the history of NBA playoffs betting heading into Game 1. The under has cashed in four times and pushed once dependent upon where NBA bettors got into the market at online sportsbooks for Game 5. Even with Kyrie Irving out of the mix, Brooklyn still managed to get the job done to send this series back to Milwaukee with a 3-2 lead in tow. It was a crippling defeat for a Bucks outfit that went off the board favored to win by 1.5-points. With that, it will be interesting to see how Giannis Antetokounmpo and company bounce back from such a disheartening loss facing elimination. Having said that, they’re yet to drop a game in their own digs throughout the playoffs and find themselves lined as the favorite to force a Game 7.
Game 6 of the best-of-seven series between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from the Fiserv Forum. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN. We'll have NBA Playoff odds and player props available at BookMaker.eu for this and every game going on today’s NBA slate.

Odds Analysis
What made Game 5 so strange was the fact that Brooklyn found itself dogged on its home hardwood yet still clocked in as the prohibitive favorite to win the title. Though it found a way to pull out the 114-108 comeback win to reclaim the series lead, it’s the Bucks that are once again lined the 3.5-point favorites to extend this series to a seventh and deciding game. Even so, it’s the Nets that clock in as the decided -330 chalk to ultimately win the series regardless of whether Kevin Durant and his mates find a way to hand the Bucks their first home defeat of the playoffs. We already saw what it took for Brooklyn to stage the comeback last time out. Do you think KD’s got another triple-double in him highlighted by 49 points? If you do, you best make it a point to get down on his player props immediately after they hit the board because you won’t be the only one!
Brooklyn Nets
The news heading into Game 5 was all about James Harden in uniform and taking part in the pre-game shootaround. Once it was announced he was indeed going to play, the betting public lit Brooklyn up like a Christmas tree ultimately lowering the number to beat down to a near pick ‘em. It started off terribly for those with Nets tickets in hand, but things really took a turn for the better in the second half. The Nets would go on to outscore Milwaukee 71-49 to secure the dramatic come-from-behind victory. Durant stole the show, but it still wouldn’t have been seen all the way through if not for Jeff Green (27) and Blake Griffin (17) lending a helping hand. “The Beard” was undoubtedly rusty after scoring just five points on 1 of 10 shooting.
Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks committed 24 fouls and only assisted 18 of 41 made shots. While the team converted nearly half of the 83 shots from the field, there simply was way too much one-on-one basketball taking place over the course of the game’s 48 minutes. “The Greek Freak” led the team in scoring with 34 points on an efficient 14 of 22 shooting, and also led the team on the glass with 12 caroms. Khris Middleton (25) and Jrue Holiday (19) also held up their end of the bargain, but the team didn’t get much from anybody else. P.J. Tucker failed to log a single point over the course of his 33+ minutes, and the Bucks only got a total of 15 points from the bench. That type of effort simply won’t cut it with the team’s collective back up against the wall.
Brooklyn vs. Milwaukee Prediction
There are numerous unknowns about Game 6 right now that it makes it nearly impossible to feel confident about investing in either the side or total. Will Kyrie Irving be back and ready to go? How will Harden react to getting a full sweat in for the first time since June 1? Can Milwaukee bounce back from one of the franchise’s worst-ever playoff defeats? I don’t know the answer to the first two questions. Nobody does but the two players in question. What I do know however is that the Bucks won’t go silent into the night; at least not in a must-win Game 6 on their home floor. Whether they ultimately go on to cover the closing NBA odds is another story. Milwaukee went 26-10 SU at home in the regular season, and is yet to go down in defeat in front of the hometown faithful in the playoffs. With that, I’ll elect to sit this one out pre-game but look to snag Milwaukee at plus points/money should they fall down by a decent enough margin in-game.
