The Bachelorette Betting

One of the popular reality television shows in the United States is The Bachelorette which runs from May through August each year. The show debuted in 2003 on ABC and has run for 14 seasons. Season 15 will begin on May 13, 2019 with Hannah Brown the bachelorette. The Bachelorette is a spin-off of The Bachelor and the bachelorette is usually someone who was a contestant on a previous season of The Bachelor.

Event: The Bachelorette Season 15

Where: Agoura Hills, California and other Locales

When: May-August 2019

The Bachelorette has not had as many seasons as The Bachelor, as it didn’t air in 2006, 2007 or early in 2008. It returned in 2008 with a May debut date and has aired ever since. The show has similar rules to The Bachelor and it has a bachelorette, usually one that was a former contestant on The Bachelor and a group of potential husbands, usually 25. The show continues each week with contestants being eliminated each week until the show gets down to the final two.

In the final show of the season one of the two males proposes to the bachelorette. All of the previous seasons have ended with the bachelorette either accepting or declining the proposal. There have been three marriages so far from The Bachelorette and heading into Season 15 there are another three engagements, as of April 2019. For some reason The Bachelorette has had more success in terms of the final couples actually getting married than The Bachelor.

There was an interesting twist in Season 11, as producers could not decide between Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson for The Bachelorette, so the 25 men decided which woman to go with and it was Kaitlyn who won and Britt was sent home. The show has not been without controversy, as created Mike Fleiss appeared on 20/20 in March of 2010 and said that the show’s contestants are tailored to fit the taste of the audience. He also said that each season the show needs their “fair share of villains.” That is why it is somewhat surprising that the show has actually produced more marriages than has The Bachelor.

The Bachelorette is filmed in at "Villa De La Vina," in Agoura Hills, California for the first couple of episodes, while later episodes are filmed around the world in exotic locations.

Season 15

Hannah Brown is The Bachelorette for Season 15. She was definitely an interesting contestant on The Bachelor but she was sent home in Week 7 and didn’t even make it to the top four. She did, however, attract a large following of over half a million Instagram followers during her time on the show. She is getting a lot of media attention heading into Season 15 of The Bachelorette. She is a former beauty queen and not the average woman who has been seen on the show before. She was quoted recently as saying “I’m Hannah — all aboard the hot mess express!”

Because the filming for Season 15 has already started there are rumors about one of the men as the favorite to win the contest. Luke Parker appears to have the early lead, although we know that leads in contests don’t always translate into wins. Parker is an entrepreneur and former college baseball player from Georgia and we already know Brown is a former Miss Alabama.
