Toronto FC MLS Betting
After being one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference from 2016 to 2020, making it to the MLS Cup Finals three times, Toronto FC has bottomed out. The Reds have finished 13th in the Eastern Conference for each of the last two seasons, but many observers still believe in former USMNT coach Bob Bradley. This attack could be one of the best in the league as ownership has made this the highest paid roster in the MLS, and there is plenty of star power up front.

Toronto FC 2023 Preview
Lorenzo Insigne is the highest paid player in the league with a reported annual salary of $15 million. Insigne made his Toronto FC debut on July 23, and the Italian national notched six goals and two assists in his first 11 games with his new club. He has the potential to thrive with countryman Federico Bernardeschi on the wing, and the Reds have two solid finishers in Adama Diomande and C.J. Sapong too.
This midfield is also very talented with the addition of Mark-Anthony Kaye alongside long-time center mid Jonathan Osorio. However, Michael Bradley is well past his prime and should not be a major fixture in the starting lineup anymore. The club also has an extremely new back line as all of their defenders have joined the team in the last year.

It took Toronto FC nearly a decade to make its mark on the MLS. They failed to finish higher than fifth place during their first nine seasons, but they were one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference from 2016 to 2020. They went to the MLS Cup Finals three times and finished as one of the top four teams in the East four times in that stretch.
Toronto has faced the Seattle Sounders in all three of its trips to the finals. In 2016, the Reds lost in penalties after a scoreless regulation and extra time, but they avenged that defeat the following year. Jozy Altidore and Victor Vazquez lifted Toronto to the MLS Cup in 2017, making this club the first from outside the United States to win the league. Unfortunately, Toronto couldn’t knock off the Sounders in 2019, losing 3-1 in the Emerald City.
This club has dominated the Canadian Championship over the last ten years. Toronto FC have won this cup competition seven times since it was first organized in 2008, making them the most decorated team in Canada by a wide margin.
