VCU Rams National Championship Odds
The Virginia Commonwealth Rams finished the 2020-21 season with a record of 19-7, including 10-4 in the Atlantic 10. The Rams received an at-large bid from the NCAA Tournament committee and will be a No. 10 seed. The Rams have had some success in previous NCAA Tourneys, including a Final Four run. This year’s Rams don’t have the look of a Final Four team and it could be they have trouble just winning a single game. The Rams face a very dangerous Oregon Ducks team that is a No. 7 seed in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament on Saturday, March 20, 2021. VCU is led by guard Nah’Shon Hyland who averaged 19.4 points per game.

The Rams suffered a tough 3-point loss at Penn State to start December, but they bounced back with wins against Mount St. Mary’s and North Carolina A&T. The Rams rolled over Old Dominion, Western Carolina, James Madison and St. Joe’s in December.
The New Year for the Rams started with a win against George Mason but the Rams were routed against Rhode Island in their next game. VCU bounced back to beat George Washington but then VCU was routed by St. Bonaventure. The Rams closed out the month of January with wins against Dayton and Lasalle. VCU started February with wins against Rhode Island, Dayton, St. Bonaventure and Richmond. The Rams closed out the regular season with tough losses to George Mason and Davidson along with a win over Saint Louis.
