Dillashaw and Dominick Cruz will face off on January 17th, 2016, at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. T.J. Dillashaw has a career record of 12-2 with six wins by knockout, three by submission and three by decision. He enters on a four-fight winning streak, which includes a fourth-round TKO of Renan Barao last time out on July 25th, 2015, at UFC on FOX 16. Dominick Cruz has an impressive record as a professional with a 20-1 record, which includes 12 wins by knockout, 12 by decision and one by submission. Cruz is the underdog despite entering this matchup on an 11-fight winning streak. He defeated Takeya Mizugaki by first-round knockout in his most recent fight on September 27th, 2014 at UFC 178. Cruz is the underdog because most of his victories have come at lower levels. However, he is 3-0 since joining the UFC, with a pair of unanimous decisions in addition to the knockout win, and aims to keep proving himself at this level. Cruz’s lone career loss came to Urijah Faber by first-round submission in 2007 but he did exact revenge with a win over Faber in 2011.

He has won four of five entering this fight.
