The heavyweight division is screaming for some new blood in UFC and across all mixed martial arts, and though both Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett are in their late 30s, they're providing some real threats to some of the top dogs in the division. There's a real chance that the winner of this fight goes on to a match against someone like Junior Dos Santos or Cain Velasquez, and it's not long from there to get to the top of the division where Stipe Miocic is waiting.
Both of these men though, are in poor form at the moment. Barnett has been beaten in two of his last three fights. Arlovski has dropped two straight, including getting knocked out by Miocic in just 54 seconds in January in Las Vegas.
In the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 93, Alexander Gustafsson will take on Jan Blachowicz. This is a big spot for Blahowicz, as he's fighting not far from his Polish home and would love to make a big move up the light heavyweight ladder.
Gustafsson was at the top of that ladder not long ago before losing to Jon Jones in September 2013. He's been beaten twice more since that point, once to Anthony Johnson in January 2015, then again to Daniel Cormier at UFC 192. This is a chance for him to get his footing back under him again after sitting out for almost a full year.
