Dillashaw has been impressive his last two times in the octagon, winning the Performance of the Night against Barão and Soto. His win over Barão was also dubbed the Upset of the Year for 2014.

Renan Barão is 33-2 with eight knockouts. His loss to Dillashaw Barão's first since 2005 when he lost his debut fight by decision João Paulo Rodrigues. After that, Barão went on to win his next 32 bouts, with the exception of one no contest in 2007. The 28-year-old rebounded from his loss to Dillashaw in December with a third-round submission win over Mitch Gagnon. Barão won the UFC Bantamweight Championship in 2012 with a decision win over Urijah Faber and defended the title three times before his initial fight with Dillashaw. He will be eager to get the chance to win back his title.

Another bout of interest includes the women’s bantamweight bout between Miesha Tate and Jessica Eye. Tate has a record of 16-5 with three knockouts. She is riding a three-fight winning streak coming into this fight against Eye with her most recent win coming against Sara McMann on January 31st where she won by decision. Eye is 11-2 and has also defeated three opponents by knockout. She defeated Leslie Smith by technical knockout on November 15th to capture her latest win.
