NCAA Football Betting Online: The San Diego State Aztecs have ascended to the class of the Mountain West Conference, winning back-to-back conference titles the past two years. They are the favorites to claim another one this season but will be challenged by the like of Boise State, Colorado State and Wyoming.
San Diego State watched some high-profile players move on but still have a solid nucleus returning. Expectations are high for the Aztecs this season, and the oddsmakers believe a great season is in the works, giving them a projected win total which approaches double digits.
Another bowl game seems a foregone conclusion for San Diego State.

The Aztecs do have a big name on each side of the ball that must be replaced. Star running back Donnel Pumphrey rushed for more than 2,000 yards a year ago and is off to the NFL. So, too, is Damonte Kazee, who had 17 interceptions in his college career.
San Diego State seems prepared to adequately replace both. Rashaad Penny ran for more than 1,000 yards himself a season ago and will get the lion’s share of the carries in 2017. Kameron Kelly, who had five interceptions in 2016, is moving to cornerback from safety and hopes to play well there.
San Diego State returns its quarterback, Christian Chapman, although he won’t overwhelm with his arm. The Aztecs set an NCAA record by having both a 2,000- and 1,000-yard rusher a season ago and figure to be run-heavy once again.

Pasadena Bowl-W |
San Diego is coming off back-to-back 11-win seasons and the feeling is the success will continue. The Aztecs don’t have a large margin for error with such a high win total projection, so they have to play well against the other top teams in the Mountain West as well as in non-conference play.
San Diego State coach Brady Long has never had a losing season and has really gotten things rolling. The Aztecs will push for another conference crown in 2017.
