2016 Shenzhen International Gambling LinesEuropean Tour Golf Betting Odds: If you’re looking for the best advice for golf odds, you’ve certainly come to the right place. Here at Bookmaker sportsbook we’re previewing the Shenzhen International, which will be held from April 16th through April 19th, 2016, at Genzon Golf Course in Shenzhen, China, featuring Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Lo Hao-Tong, Tommy Fleetwood and Peter Uihlein.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat really enjoyed the initial Shenzhen International as he emerged as the inaugural champion. He will look to double up and remain the event’s only champion with a repeat in 2016. The tournament will be held from April 16th through April 19th, 2016, at Genzon Golf Course in Shenzhen, China. This is a European Tour event, so the world’s best PGA golfers don’t usually participate. With that in mind Aphibarnrat could be on the short list of top contenders for the title in golf odds.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat shot a 12-under 276 in the inaugural tournament, which was tied atop the leaderboard with Lo Hao-Tong after 72 holes. The two went to a playoff, where Aphibarnrat was able to hold on to clinch his victory. It looked like he wouldn’t even have to survive the perilous overtime after three rounds, as Aphibarnrat jumped out to a four shot lead over the field. However, he was only able to put together an even-par round on Sunday while Ha-Tong surged up the leaderboard with a final round 67 to make up five strokes. However, Aphibarnrat was able to turn it around at the right time to claim the title.

It was a tight race at the inaugural Shenzhen International, with 12 other golfers within three strokes of the lead. Tommy Fleetwood came in third place by shooting an 11-under, coming up with a 69 in the final round to move up a few spots, although he fell just short of making it a three-way playoff. There were seven different golfers who finished the tournament at 10-under. They were Julien Quesne, Marco Crespi, Wen-yi Huang, David Howell, Tom Lewis, Y.E. Yang, and Peter Uihlein. Uihlein started the tournament very strong with a 67 and 68 in the first two rounds, but finished only 1-under over the last two rounds to fall down to fourth place. If he returns, Uihlein could be one of the top contenders at the Shenzhen International.

There isn’t a lot of history here, but the job by Aphibarnrat to play well and then pull out the victory in the playoff bodes well for the future. He will likely return to try to defend the title, while some of the other top players should also be back, aiming to knock him from that perch in golf odds.

How to bet on Shenzhen International

The odds of a golfer to win the Shenzhen International will generally look something like:

Tiger Woods + 150

Phil Mickelson + 250

Steve Stricker + 300

Jeff Overton + 700

Ernie Els + 700

Field + 600

These betting odds will be lower when betting on a golfer to finish in the top three, as the sportsbook must pay off three different winning bets.

A player would have to bet $10 to win $150 that Tiger Woods will win the Shenzhen International, while the bettor wagering on Jeff Overton stands to win $70 on their $10 wager.

Another commonly placed bet in European Golf golf is head-to-head finish between two players. With this bet, a player doesn't really care what place the golfer finishes in, as long as the golfer wagered on finishes higher than the other golfer.

A head-to-head betting line for the Shenzhen International will look something like:

Tiger Woods - 190 Steve Stricker + 150

In this bet, players wagering on Woods to finish higher than Stricker will be asked to risk $19 to win $10, while bettors believing that Stricker will finish higher than Woods will bet $10 to win $15.

Those familiar with sports betting will have no trouble making the transition to European Golf wagering and Golf Articles, while those new to the world of sports betting should be able to pick up the concepts of European golf betting without to much trouble.
