Tuesday is a busy day in college basketball with the start of the ACC Tournament and several other conferences ready to crown a champion. Tournament week is always tough on oddsmakers with teams having a short turnaround as they progress through their bracket. That’s why we have yet to see an opening line for a number of games on the slate. But rest assured, those numbers will be up and you can bet the house on that.
First round action in the ACC Tournament gets underway with the six lowest-seeded teams going at it. We won’t see the best basketball the ACC has to offer, but the teams are closely matched so we should have tight ball games. Two lower-seeded ACC teams opened as a favorite on the college basketball betting lines at BookMaker.eu. No. 14 Pitt is a 1-point favorite against No. 11 BC, and No. 15 Notre Dame opened as 1.5-point chalk over No. 10 Georgia Tech. You can also expect No. 1 ranked Gonzaga to be laying double-figures in its WCC championship tilt with Saint Mary’s.
BookMaker.eu will have college basketball odds and live betting options for every game on the Tuesday schedule.

Tuesday Opening Lines Report
With semifinal games completed the night before, oddsmakers took their time determining point spreads for four conference tournament championship games. Top-ranked Gonzaga has won 31 consecutive games against West Coast Conference teams and their only loss to a league foe in the last two years was delivered by Saint Mary’s. The two WCC heavyweights will meet in the conference tournament final for the fourth year in a row, but this one seems different.
The Gaels were expected to put a up a fight in the other games, and they even had a decent chance at winning. That doesn’t appear to be the case this time around. Saint Mary’s will show up and they’ll say they expect to win, but this Zags team is better than the one from two years ago that lost to UNC in the national final. Gonzaga has played as a favorite of 20-points or more 17 times this season and the Zags are 11-7 ATS in those games.
They beat Saint Mary’s inside the Kennel by 48 points as a 17-point favorite. The Zags won the regular season finale in Moraga by 14 points when laying 9.5-points. There’s a good chance the line for this one reaches double-figures and the Zags are likely to cover again.
The top two teams in the Colonial Athletic Association get together with a trip to the Dance at stake. At 15-3, Hofstra finished a game better than Northeastern in the conference standings to earn the No. 1 seed. The teams split the season series with each winning at home in a pair of close games with the Huskies the ATS winner both times.
The ACC and the Sun Belt both had their matchups pegged over the weekend so we do have numbers for those games.
It isn’t a complete surprise to see a lower seed laying points, and that’s the case in two of the three ACC games. The spreads are tight with Notre Dame giving a point to Georgia Tech and Pitt favored by one over BC. The seeds are generated by records in conference games and a club with a stronger non-conference body of work will get some leeway. Wake Forest had a near miss against Duke just a few days ago, but the Deacons opened as the largest underdog at +6.5.
