The Oregon Ducks and Seton Hall Pirates are both off to encouraging starts to the 2019-20 season, and will face off in an intriguing early-season clash this week. Both teams are ranked in the top-15 in the nation and have the type of talent to make a serious push deep into March Madness at the end of the year. The teams will play in a neutral site affair in the Bahamas so neither side will have the benefit of a fervent crowd behind it. Oregon has looked like the slightly superior team early in the season and could be favored in this matchup.

Odds Analysis
Oregon has a record of 5-0 on the season. It has an impressive early-season win over Memphis on the resume and could add another nice one here. The Ducks are ranked No. 11 in the nation and would likely move into the top-10 with a victory over Seton Hall.
The Pirates are 4-1 on the year. Their only loss of the season was actually a really impressive effort, falling to No. 1 Michigan State by only three points. Seton Hall is ranked No. 13 in the country and could also hop into the top-10 with a victory, depending on what happens with some of the other top-ranked teams.
Player to Watch
Myles Powell -- Seton Hall will lean heavily on its star senior guard. He is averaging 21.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this season and is the go-to player when the Pirates are looking for a bucket. Powell is shooting 44.4 percent from the field and 43.8 percent from three-point range.
Powell has been a key player for Seton Hall all four years of his career, averaging in double figures every season. He was the team’s top offensive option as a junior and has picked up where he left off this season. Oregon will need to keep a close eye on Powell, and if he struggles shooting the ball the Pirates will be hard-pressed to pull off the upset.
Key Stat
51.9. -- That’s the percentage Oregon has been shooting from the floor this season, which is a very efficient mark. That will be challenged in this one as Seton Hall is only allowing 64.2 points per game.
Point guard Payton Pritchard is leading Oregon in scoring at 19.4 points per game and is shooting 54 percent from the floor. Guard Anthony Mathis is adding 15.0 points per game and he is shooting a sparkling 60.5 percent from the floor. It is really hard for guards to be that efficient but the Ducks’ backcourt is off to a fantastic start.
Everyone in the rotation is shooting at least 43 percent from the field as Oregon does not have a weak link on the floor.
College Basketball Pick
Oregon has been really good this year and even though Seton Hall is a legitimate foe, the Ducks have the talent advantage. Pritchard is a star who always makes great decisions when the ball is in his hand. Look for Oregon to grab the lead early in this one and hold off a late Seton Hall rally to remain undefeated with the win. The Ducks should move in the top-10 by taking care of business against the Pirates.
College Basketball Pick: Oregon Ducks 78, Seton Hall Pirates 71
