Indiana still covered the closing 2.5-point spread.
Purdue Boilermakers
It wasn’t fun to be Michigan last Friday night. Not with the Boilermakers hell-bent on taking their frustrations out on the Wolverines after seeing their seven-game win streak go up in smoke the game prior when the Ohio State Buckeyes went into Mackey and scored the 73-70 outright win as 10-point underdogs. Purdue wasted little time taking it to the Maize and Blue, getting out to a 25 point halftime lead and never looked back en route to logging the 91-64 win and cover as laughable 4-point favorites. PU shot 55 percent from the field and drained nine 3-pointers to move to 9-1 SU and 6-4 ATS as hosts. Braden Smith and his teammates moved to 8-2 both SU and ATS in B1G play with the dominant win. The Boilers have tickled the twine for nearly 86 points per game in front of the hometown faithful leading to the over paying out eight times.
Indiana at Purdue Same Game Parlay Picks
With only two Quad 1 wins to their credit (@Penn State, @Ohio State) and six losses, it’s do-or-die time for the Hoosiers if they’re to do anything with the remaining schedule and be a factor in the Big Ten race. I’m still giving Indiana the benefit of the doubt here. It’s been frisky of late and this is a huge rivalry game. The keys will be limiting turnovers and defending the perimeter. Easier said than done as terrible the Hoosiers have been in each stat category. However, I can’t help but think Purdue will get the Hoosiers best shot with their NCAA tournament hopes fading fast. A win like this would inject a much-needed dose of adrenaline into those chances. Indiana plus the points paired with the under, regardless of the over cashing in four straight, is how I’m devising my college basketball parlay picks for Friday night’s huge in-state rivalry game.
