The problem we have with this game is that we really have no idea how good Maryland is. All of their wins have come at home or on neutral courts and they have lost their three road games. This game is at home so they definitely have a chance to win this game. The Bruins have played far better at home than on the road, but UCLA still looks like a better team than Maryland. I don’t like it that UCLA hasn’t played as well on the road, but I give them credit, as they did go on the road and beat Oregon, something Maryland failed to do. UCLA may have the advantage early, as Maryland could be a bit rusty having not played since Sunday, so UCLA has to get off to a fast start in this one. We don’t know the odds on this one at the time of this writing, but I am thinking the college basketball pointspread will be close to a pick. As long as the Bruins are not laying more than a point or two, I will take UCLA and also play the game over the total.
