We haven't even completed the college basketball regular season yet, and already we're on the verge of seeing a truly maddening upset. The Stetson Hatters have never been to March Madness, and after a 10-21 regular season, no one figured they stood a chance to change that this year. They've still got a huge hurdle to overcome against the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, but just the fact that they're one win away from the dance is remarkable and why we all love this time of year....
It's a sin that we haven't had a chance to see the Maryland Terrapins play against the Indiana Hoosiers yet this season. We've been made to wait for it, but arguably the two best teams in the Big Ten will have their day to end the college basketball regular season against one another on Sunday afternoon in Bloomington....
The SEC is very likely the worst of the major conferences in the nation this year. The true testament to that? The LSU Tigers can still win a share of the regular season conference crown with a win on Sunday over the Kentucky Wildcats, though that victory won't necessarily put them on the right side of the bubble heading into next week's conference tournament....
