Deni Avdija +3000
Obi Toppin +3700
Killian Hayes +5000
RJ Hampton +6000

Wasn’t it just a week ago that Edwards was a big favorite to go No. 1? All it took was a poor workout from Edwards to change the odds. Edwards was thought to be going first to Minnesota, but people who saw his workout were not impressed with the attitude of Edwards and the workout has worried some NBA executives. Most people still believe that Edwards has great skills, but there are major concerns about his work ethic. Ball is now the favorite to go first overall, but it is hard to know what Minnesota is thinking. It would not be a shock to see the Timberwolves take James Wiseman with the top pick. Some people in their organization have envisioned what the combination of Karl Anthony Towns and Wiseman would be like on the court. It is also worth noting that the Timberwolves already have D’Angelo Russell and he is under contract for years to come. It should be noted, however, that Ball still could end up going first if Minnesota trades out of the top spot, so keep that in mind.
International Players Drafted in Top 10
Over 3.5 +531
Under 3.5 -773
If you want to lay big money and get a win then you have to take the under on this prop. We know that Deni Avdija and Killian Hayes are Top 10 picks but then there is no one else. There are not any International players other than those two being considered in the Top 15, let alone the Top 10. I don’t lay this type of price, but under 3.5 seems like a safe bet.
Anthony Edwards Draft Position
Over 1.5 -196
Under 1.5 +162
I don’t like laying big prices, but it seems like everyone has soured on Edwards and he is not going to be taken first overall. I think taking the over 1.5 is definitely the way to go with this prop.
Deni Avdija Draft Position
Over 4.5 -117
Under 4.5 -107
James Wiseman Draft Position
Over 2.5 +113
Under 2.5 –137
I think Wiseman is going to go first or second, and I think Edwards is going to fall out of the top two. Perhaps Golden State will take Edwards, but I think it is more likely that Wiseman goes first or second. I will go under 2.5 on this prop.
LaMelo Ball Draft Position
Over 2.5 +246
Under 2.5 -308
I am not laying 3-1 on Ball going first or second, but I am also not going to go against conventional wisdom and take the over, so I will pass on this one.
Obi Tobbin Draft Position
Over 4.5 -215
Under 4.5 +177
Total ACC Players Drafted in First Round
Over 5.5 +319
Under 5.5 -415
Total Big 10 Players Drafted in First Round
Over 1.5 +127
Under 1.5 -152
Total Big 12 Players Drafted in First Round
Over 2.5 +212
Under 2.5 -244
As I have previously said, I am never thrilled about laying big prices, but you have to think that going under 2.5 is a good bet in this prop. We already know that the Big 12 was down a bit and you can forget about Texas and Kansas having a first rounder this year. We know that Iowa State guard Tyrese Haliburton is going to be selected in the first round and then who knows. TCU guard Desmond Bane might be a late first round pick, but it is not a given. It is hard to see a team taking a first round shot with Udoka Azubuike or Devon Dotson. The under looks to be a solid choice on this prop.
Total Pac-12 Players Drafted in First Round
Over 6.5 +225
Under 6.5 -279
Total SEC Players Drafted in First Round
Over 5.5 +103
Under 5.5 -127
