The Boston Celtics have been flirting with disaster for the entirety of the 2020-21 NBA betting season. So much so that Brad Stevens’ squad currently finds itself on the outside looking into the playoff picture now needing to win a seeding game just to have a shot at returning to the postseason. The Milwaukee Bucks are firmly entrenched within the Eastern Conference playoff picture owners of a 27-14 SU record which has them eight games up in the Central Division. This will be the first of two scheduled games between the squads at online sportsbooks with tonight’s the first of the double dip. Will Jayson Tatum and his mates rise to the challenge, or will they wilt against Giannis and company who will be looking to avenge a 122-121 defeat incurred at the Garden from late December?
This Eastern Conference skirmish is set to go down live on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET from the Fiserv Forum. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN. We'll have NBA odds available at BookMaker.eu for this and every game on Hump Day’s NBA slate.

Odds Analysis
After taking its frustrations out on the Orlando Magic on Sunday afternoon to put an end to a three-game losing and coverless streak, the Celtics hit the road for Memphis on Monday to battle Ja Morant and the Grizzlies in hopes of improving upon their wretched marks when playing away from the comforts of their own hardwood. For the season, Boston checks in 8-14 SU and a bankroll debilitating 7-15 ATS. Its most recent win away from Boston came in the form of a 134-107 beat down of the dreadful Houston Rockets. Before that, the team lost and failed to cover each of its prior seven. Another road loss was accrued immediately after when the Cleveland Cavaliers pulled the upset as 7.5-point underdogs. With just one loss absorbed in its last 12 games (6-6 ATS) since dropping four in a row in the middle of February, Milwaukee is currently the hottest team in the East. These teams are currently at complete opposite ends of the spectrum!
Boston Celtics
The C’s got it cooking last time out in a commanding home win and cover against the Orlando Magic as 9-point favorites. Though it got real hairy at the start of the fourth quarter once the Magic rattled off a 10-2 spurt to get back within the number, things would settle down and Boston would play even for the quarter. The end result was a much-needed 112-96 home win and cover. Boston would end up putting forth one of its better offensive showings of late in connecting on 45 percent of its shots which included a whopping 23 of 54 showing from long range. Jaylen Brown led all scorers with 34 points. Most importantly, the offense only committed nine turnovers while the defense held Orlando to 38 percent from the field and less than 100 points; the last time that happened was the middle of February!
Milwaukee Bucks
Last we got a glimpse of the “Greek Freak” and his mates in live action, they ousted the San Antonio Spurs 120-113 at home as 11.5-point favorites. Winning but not covering has been the team theme of late with it heading into Monday’s home tilt with the Pacers winners of six straight to go along with a poor 2-4 ATS record. Regardless, the offense has simply been playing with its hair on fire in averaging better than 122 points throughout the current win streak. On the flipside, the defense has given up an average of 111.8 points which paints the exact picture as to why Milwaukee still isn’t in the good graces of its wagering supporters who’ve only cashed tickets in 19 of their 41 games played to date.
Boston vs. Milwaukee Prediction
The Bucks have killed me six ways to Sunday this season. When I bet on them, they suck. When I fade them, they’re elite. The most recent catastrophe occurred in their visit to Philadelphia on St. Patty’s Day when I laid the five points and watched as they fell into a near 20 point hole only to come back and win the game in overtime; by four – insert mad emoji! If ever there was a time the Celtics were to rise to the occasion and let all their naysayers know they’re still viable threats in the Eastern Conference, this is it! Its last two visits to Milwaukee saw it come up short but only lose both matchups by an average of 6.0 points per game (1-1 ATS). As bad they’ve been on the road to date, linemakers just might inflate the number to beat. If it clocks in at 6+ points or greater, I’ll have no choice but to take the extra cushion when taking Milwaukee’s recent cover struggles into account.
