The Denver Nuggets might not be atop their respective conferences in the NBA standings, but both are lurking not far behind. Both teams would love to finish with a high seed and follow it up with a deep playoff push.
The races are close as the regular season hits its stretch run. The Nuggets and 76ers will face off this week in a critical game for both sides. Denver has been the better team this year but Philadelphia is at home, which should make this a competitive showdown.
Look for the 76ers to be the favorites based upon the location in NBA gambling.

Odds Analysis
The Nuggets have a record of 37-16 on the season, which is only a half-game behind the Warriors for the top seed in the West. Golden State is playing really well and is healthy now, so it seems unlikely Denver surpasses it, but the Nuggets are in good shape to finish as the No. 2 seed. The Nuggets have only been so-so on the road with a 14-12 mark but would love to improve on that here.
The 76ers are 34-19 on the year. They are a half-game behind both the Pacers and Celtics for the No. 3 seed in the East and would love to push back them before the postseason begins. Philadelphia has been fantastic at home this year with a record of 21-5 and will be favored to keep it up.
Injury Report
Both teams are dealing with some injuries. Philadelphia shooting guard J.J. Redick has missed the past two games due to illness and should be good to go, but it’s a situation worth watching. He is a key piece, averaging 18.3 points per game. Philly forward Wilson Chandler has a quad injury and won’t play in this matchup.
Denver guard Jamal Murray is dealing with an ankle injury that may have him questionable for this one. Murray is averaging 18.5 points, 4.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds per contest. He is a key piece for the Nuggets and they hope to have him available. Shooting guard Gary Harris is dealing with a groin injury that could keep him out of this one. He is averaging 14.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest.
Power forward Paul Millsap is dealing with an ankle injury and he is a third key player for Denver whose status is up in the air. Millsap is averaging 12.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
Matchup To Watch
Nikola Jokic vs. Joel Embiid -- Both teams boast All-Star centers. Denver’s Jokic has taken a big step forward this season. He is averaging 20.1 points and 10.4 rebounds per game and is one of the best passing big men in the league.
Embiid has vaulted into superstardom this year, averaging 27.2 points and 13.5 rebounds per contest. If one of these players vastly outplays the other, it will give his team a huge advantage.
Free NBA ATS Picks
The Nuggets have a really good team but could be missing some firepower. The 76ers play great at home and should be able to capture this contest. Philadelphia will have to win by several points in order to cover, and it is the choice to do so. The 76ers badly need wins down the stretch and this will be a quality victory in NBA betting lines.
NBA ATS Pick: Philadelphia 76ers 119, Denver Nuggets 112
