The NBA Finals is shaping up to be a good one, as the juggernaut Golden State Warriors will face off against the upstart Toronto Raptors with the NBA championship on the line. There will be plenty of focus on the spread, moneyline and scoring total in each game, as well as the odds considering which team will win the series and in how many games.
Beyond the team wagers, there are a host of NBA Finals prop bets that should be researched, because there are is some good action to be had. Let’s take a look at some of the most intriguing prop bets for the final series of the year in NBA gambling.

Odds Analysis
One of the NBA Finals prop bets asks if Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green will average more or less than 12.5 points in this series. The “over” is the favorite at -155 with the “under” available at -125 odds. Green averaged only 7.4 points per game during the regular season, shooting 44.5 percent from the field. He has been much better in the playoffs, averaging 13.6 points on 52.1 percent shooting. While Green has looked really good in the postseason, this number is too high, especially considering Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins are on their way back from injury and will gobble up touches. The “under” is a great wager.
Another prop asks how many points per game Klay Thompson will average in the NBA Finals. His total is listed at 20.5 points, with the “over” the favorite at -145 and the “under” set at +110. Thompson averaged 21.5 points per game during the regular season and has put up 19.1 points per contest in the playoffs. The “over” is the smart play here.
Steph Curry’s scoring total is set at 30.5 points. The “over” is the -140 favorite while the “under” is the +110 underdog. Curry has averaged 27.3 points per game in the postseason and the same number in the regular season. However, he has been scoring in bunches without Durant in the lineup so this wager may come down to how quickly Durant can get back on the court.
The scoring total for Raptors star Kawhi Leonard is also set at 30.5 points, with the “over” and the “under” both set at -115. Leonard has put Toronto on his back in the playoffs and that won’t change in this one, with the “over” the smart call.

While those scoring totals are deserving of a look, the best NBA Finals prop bet centers on the MVP of the series. Curry is listed at the -170 favorite, followed by Leonard at +230, Thompson at +800 and Draymond Green at +850. Kevin Durant’s MVP odds are set at +1703 but it’s unknown how many games he will play in.
The Warriors should win and Curry is the logical pick, but the odds are too low. Thompson is going to have a great performance on both ends of the floor and should be chosen at these odds in NBA gambling.
