The Boston Celtics grabbed the first game of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series, but the Milwaukee Bucks have answered back with authority. Milwaukee has a 2-1 lead heading into a critical Game 4 on Monday night in Boston.
The Celtics are the lower seed but they certainly have enough firepower to make this an interesting game, and the home court advantage will have them feeling confident they can win it. The Bucks can take full control of this series with a win but this seems like a game that could go either way in NBA gambling.
This NBA basketball game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics will be held at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, May 6th, 2019. The game will be nationally televised on TNT.

Odds Analysis
The Celtics are listed as the slight 1.5-point favorites in this matchup. Boston is listed at -115 on the moneyline while the Bucks are -105 to secure the victory. The scoring total is listed at 221 points.
Milwaukee was the right choice on the moneyline last time out and would love to reward the faith of its bettors in this matchup, too, in NBA odds.
Last Time Out
The Celtics had a five-point lead after the first quarter but the Bucks steadily took control and came away with the 123-116 win. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for Milwaukee with 32 points on 8-of-13 shooting and added 13 rebounds and eight assists. It was another dominant effort from the Greek Freak as he shows why he is in the running for the MVP this season.
Boston was led by point guard Kyrie Irving, who finished with 29 points, six assists and three steals. The Celtics scored fine but their trademark defense was nowhere to be found as Milwaukee shot 50 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range. Boston will need to tighten that up in Game 4 or risk losing at home again.
Injury Report
The Celtics could get point guard Marcus Smart back for this one after he missed extended time with an oblique injury. He is a key cog for Boston, averaging 8.9 points and 4.0 assists per game on the season while playing tough defense. Smart may not be able to play as many minutes as usual but anything he can give the team will be a boost.
Milwaukee guard Malcolm Brogdon is not expected to play in Game 4. He is averaging 15.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest, so it is a significant absence, although the Bucks have managed just fine without him thus far in the series.
Free NBA ATS Picks
The Bucks may be the better team, but Boston’s back is against the wall, and the team will play with a high sense or urgency. Look for the Celtics to ramp it up on the defensive end and come away with the much-needed win to tie this series up at 2 in NBA betting.
The “under” is the right pick as the scoring will be tougher to find in Game 4.
NBA ATS Pick: Boston Celtics 110, Milwaukee Bucks 105
