The Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers have been trading punches all series long, and there will be a knockout blow on Sunday. The teams will face off in a do-or-die Game 7 for the right to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Raptors finished with the better record in the regular season, which gives them the advantage of playing this one at home. Toronto is the favorite to win this game and move on, but Philly looked impressive last time out and shouldn’t be counted out.

The Raptors are listed as the six-point favorites to win Game 7. They are -255 on the moneyline while the 76ers are listed at +211 to pull off the upset. The 76ers forced a Game 7 by dominating early on, taking a double-digit lead into halftime and stretching the advantage to 19 points at the end of the third quarter in an easy 112-101 win. Jimmy Butler was awesome for the 76ers, finishing with 25 points, eight assists and six rebounds.
Ben Simmons added 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists, which was a welcome turn of events after he really struggled in the previous two games. Kawhi Leonard turned in another great game for the Raptors with 29 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, but he didn’t get enough help from the supporting cast. Danny Green only had eight points on 2-of-8 from downtown, and he needs to hit those shots when they are available.
Injury Report
76ers star big man Joel Embiid has been dealing with various illness-related issues throughout the series, but he seems to be healthy heading into Game 7. Embiid put up 17 points, 12 rebounds and a pair of blocks in Game 6. While they weren’t overwhelmingly dominant numbers, his presence was clearly on display because Philadelphia finished a ridiculous plus-40 in points when he was on the court.
The 76ers are underdogs to win Game 7, but a great performance by Embiid would certainly give them a chance.
